I’ve a very good friend who was a Democrat. We met about 10 years ago. We had discussions. Wow, you mean arguments? No, real discussions. We rarely agreed about politics but we could talk about our political likes and dislikes and respected each other’s opinions. He was liberal in most of his views, but not this Left Wing Loon Liberal type who’ve Shanghai the Democratic Party. He’s now Republican (literally more of an Independent) but not the staunch conservative I am. Not because he likes the Republican Party/Platform but because the Dems left him no choice. What I wonder, are there more like that who post on this Forum? If so, and you’re willing to admit it, please tell us your story. I’ve got a feeling a large number of people are caught in the same conundrum as my friend was.

The National debt has soared, inflation has soared, retirement savings (even if not in the market) have been devalued, and the economy (GDP) is now shrinking. Another quarter of a shrinking GDP and we officially enter the BIDEN RECESSION. RECESSION: a period of economic decline during which trade and industrial activity are reduced, generally identified by a fall in GDP in two successive quarters or more. 1.5 years ago Trump had our borders secure, the economy was booming, and inflation was <2%. Under Biden its now all gone to hell.

TDS started out as a joke. After a while it dawned on me, it’s real. I see clips of the buffoons on MSNBC & CNN occasionally. Normally they’re going to take jabs at Trump. And Psaki regularly throws a shot at Donald. I repeat, never in my 76 years have I seen a Party’s politicians and supporters so scared of an opponent. And again, initially I thought it was hatred, but I finally realized it’s past hate, it’s pure fear.

A BIG AMEN to that. Between this and appointing that (literally) goofy woman in charge of speech & disinformation (of which she’s the master), they really outdo themselves. We’re getting as close to a dictatorship as I ever thought possible.
