Lets not act like WB just didn't go to State a 3-4 years ago beating the likes of Austin Westlake & Katy Tompkins along the way...I think we sometimes take for granted the amount of talent in this area, because its local. I always think of those Craig Stump Brook teams and how much talent they had. I think you had 3 or 4 players play on Sundays off of one team. Most cities cant even say that in their whole existence . . Not to mention a big advantage Brook always has is going Small 6A, now I'm not saying they would Beat the likes of Atascocita or NS or make it to a state championship but to dismiss that because they're "Westbrook" is crazy to me

Just heard there are new voting procedures for the upcoming elections. This new, modern, safer, more secure system might cause some of you young folks some problems. It’s called a paper ballot. You’ll have to use a pen or pencil to fill it out. No more old, cumbersome, outdated voting machines. Since I’ve always, for 55 years voted on paper, I’m a pro, so feel free to ask me for advice if you feel intimidated. 😂😂😂🤣🤣👽🤣🤣😂😂😂

honestly, we had a really good STJFL staff but the staff at the JH and high school were not very good for about four years there. I can remember watching the kids from WOS warm up before the 8th grade game and they were all practicing techniques and drills. Ours were doing backbends and stuff... just playing around and I thought then that it didn't look good. Coach Stump and his staff had that group from 7th grade until Coach Dubois arrived in the spring of their sophomore year and salvaged a third round appearance their senior year (2016). They just wasted too much developmental time those four long years. I'm not saying that our kids would have developed into a powerhouse like WOS had those years... that was a very, very special bunch among all of TX high school football. But our kids could have done better than they did if not for wasted time, in my biased opinion. It's also important to note that the freshman group from BC in 2016 went undefeated in district and were heralded as the next big thing. I think they won one or two games as seniors, total. You really can't judge what a group will do based on performance at lower levels.

I highly doubt they will find a coach worth having there. Its going to be hard to find someone take over a program when your 3 Division 1 athletes are going to West Brook. Kelly could be in trouble!

There are always crazy views from someone. It doesn’t matter what someone thinks. It matters what they can legally do or have support for. Griswald makes it pretty clear that SCOTUS doesn’t have an issue with contraceptives. That is purely a private medical decision. Abortion is not as if can kill another human. That isn’t a religious opinion but a law opinion. There will always be kooks out there with some running for office. The Constitution keeps them in line. There is no support from Republicans for banning contraceptives. I am not talking of individuals but support from the party. For those that see overturning Roe/Casey (if it happens) as freedom to do practically anything, they haven’t been paying attention in class…..

I have never nor will ever believe that a few represent the whole.. but there were 100% multiple people on this site saying that TW would bring a title by a certain year. Maybe it was the same guy that created multiple accounts but it happened. Like you said, it doesn't matter now as it didn't then. I'll agree that having an experienced coach like TW was a great hire and BH definitely benefited from it. Best of luck in the future.

I know there are hot button issues for people and I have mine. Mine starts with the Second Amendment. I don’t want to compromise on that. But abortion? For one it is not a listed constitutional right. Secondly it is a human life and thirdly there are so many to stop it beforehand from the Plan B pill to birth control. I don't think he's underrated. I believe that anyone that knows anything about basketball places him very high on their list of best coaches around here for sure. Arguably any area.
