    Arming Teachers

Teachers have options as well. A fingerprint safe can be opened in seconds, while students have zero access to the gun.

    Arming Teachers

Hopefully this can get more traction. I can understand the attitude, in the article, of the kindergarten teacher that doesn't want guns around her kids, no one does. But when something like Uvalde happens and guns ARE around the kids in the bad guys hands, what are the options? Personally, I would take comfort in knowing my kids were at a school with trained, armed teachers along with school police.

  4. That is almost comical. You can’t link all is in the Democrat mindset…. or only when it comes to them? On January 6, 2021 we had a mass protest in the capitol. It was claimed to be an insurrection, which it absolutely was not as they did not try to overthrow the government. But every conservative and every Republican across the nation is branded that’s trying to overturn the government. One cop gets convicted of assault or some kind of homicide and all policeman are evil and racist. If there are 20,000 crooked cops out there, 98% still don’t fall in that category yet the Democrats paint with a mighty broadbrush. The most powerful black woman in United States history was Condoleezza Rice. She was appointed and remained in her position under a Republican presidency. She was the first and only black female Secretary of State. Up until the Obama presidency, the most powerful black.male in US history was Colin Powell. Again, under a Republican president. The lowest unemployment in recorded American history for blacks was under a Republican president. I could keep going on however current statements almost daily by the media and democratic politicians is that Republicans are all racist. It seems funny that you say can’t link all yet everything the Democrats say in this day and age links every Republican. They just as well say, “you people”.

  5. I will repeat that someone in this guy’s family or anyone with any real contact with him, knows there was something wrong and did nothing. Sometimes even knowing doesn’t help. I have a personal story on something similar, (not mass murder) we’ll just call it a bad seed. I’ll tell you he was in and out of juvenile his teen and pre-teen years. Everyone in his family knew he was bad, but even jail didn’t help. He was up for parole and his biological mom warned them not to let him out. They did anyway and he committed a heinous crime and will spend his life behind bars. Even our checks and balances don’t protect us. The problem with shrinks getting involved is that they think they can medicate anyone into normalcy, and they just about can. The problem is when the self medicated patient forgets to take his pill, or he ran out. There used to be a place for these folks. It’s called Rusk. Now, they are roaming the streets among us. The ones not medicated yet have huge numbers and are just waiting for something to click. It’s very scary.

  6. The claimed party of inclusion needs to take a look in the mirror. This last presidential election saw the most diverse set of people ever run on the Democratic (or any) side. We had black female, openly gay male, Asian, openly of a different religion other than Christianity or Jewish and so on. The Democrats had literally almost any demographic to choose from and who do they come up with, an elderly white guy who’s almost 4 years older than Trump. For all the talk from the people that are liberal, not the politicians, showed that their actions don’t back up their rhetoric. They had a Samoan female Hindu who was a United States military member, a homosexual male who is the mayor of a major city, black female who was a federal prosecutor and a senator and on all down the line. Who did the rank and file Democrats choose…. the old white guy. Then they will lecture you about inclusion……

  7. dear fellow American, I make a point not to tit for tat(argue with anyone) about politics or religion. This is not an attempt to either. But think about this, folks posting on here are not wrong if they do or have taken the 'gun control " talk personally. Cause like I have already said before, I have not heard one politician say anything about how they intend to disarm criminals. So far, only law abiding citizens will be disarmed if their ideas are put into place. take care.

    Arming Teachers

When kids are getting mowed down in the school, I wonder if that teacher would mind another teacher being armed? Here is this scenario with that teacher you spoke who of is adamantly against teachers being armed. Two years later a guy walks into the school and start shooting outside of that teacher’s room. The “I don’t like other teachers with guns” teacher is frozen in terror but sees a teacher from across the hall step out and shoots and kills the suspect who only managed to kill one student and injured another. Instead of several dozen injuries and deaths, it is over. The one who said, I don’t like other teachers to be on, should say: 1. I am so glad that the other teacher was armed. 2. I realized that countless children's lives were saved but it was wrong for that teacher to be armed and to step out and end the threat so quickly. I wish that we had not allowed guns in school.

  9. OK, anybody but Trump. Everybody understands that. But when you would vote for anyone but Trump, no matter the candidate, why the old white guy? The anybody but Trump attitude makes the Democrats look even more stupid. Here is what that basically means. Trump is so bad that I would vote for a semi-intelligent octopus. Okay, awesome. The Democrats are always pushing any kind of minority, regardless of qualifications. Look at the current Press Secretary. She walks out to take the job for the first day and announces that she’s a quadruple minority. Everything since then appears to have been a disaster. Now they are having guest speakers such as a Korean boys group, a movie star to talk about gun control, etc. and then running her out the door. But OK, if that and what do you want go for it. So here is the scenario. Anybody we put up against Trump will probably win. We don’t have that semi intelligent octopus but we have a female pacific islander/Asian who is a Hindu. We have a male who is the mayor of a large city and he has a husband. We have black female counterpart to Bill Clinton. The list was long and varied. According to the Democrats, anybody could’ve beat in Trump. What a great chance to get someone in there other than a white male. ANYBODY but Trump WILL WIN!!! But who did the rank and file Dems choose when it could have been “anybody”? No, the anybody but Trump argument doesn’t make the Democrats look smart, he makes them look stupid. Not because they wanted someone else but because they could have put in anyone else and chose not to.

  14. They were wrong because she is such a disaster that even the Democrats won’t back her up. If she is a president then she will almost certainly get the nomination in 2024. They might be dumb but they aren’t stupid. The only thing keeping Biden in power now is Kamala Harris.

  18. Okay, so my buddy, @TxHoopsfinally watched this highlight clip. I’m sure his mind is befuddled with all the scientific jargon. Don’t be embarrassed partner. They often talk way over my head. For instance, what’s significant about 1.6 gigahertz? Even Travis (Dr. Taylor, the NASA Aerospace Engineer) doesn’t know. Real interesting episode last night. Prior to the current owner, Brandon Fugal, the Ranch was bought in 1996 by Robert Bigelow, founder of NIDS (National Institute for Discovery Science). He kept it for 20 years. NIDS, in cahoots with the Fed Govt, spent 20 years investigating Skinwalker. NIDS first employee hired was retired Colonel Dr. John Alexander who oversaw most of the research there. He was on last nights episode. Travis and the current group were explaining all the weird things happening there, primarily when they start experiments, and wanted his input. Did Alexander & NIDS have that problem? He said, and I’m paraphrasing, “Your first mistake is thinking you’re in control of these things. You’re not. It’s in control”. And Alexander, like the current researchers, has no idea who or what it is. After the interview they started another experiment. Down what appeared to be a trail, they took a D8 dozer and scrapped about 6” of topsoil off over about 30 feet. Then when starting another cut going about a foot down, the dozer died. Instruments indicated the batteries were dead. Batteries were brand new. It had struck again. That night they shot a rocket, with instrumentation on board, up into the area above the Ranch that seems to be the center for activity. As rocket reached the spot the instruments were released, but the parachute failed to open. How it can seemingly mess with things that it is not connected to in anyway, is an unexplainable phenomenon. The astrologers computers hooked to their cameras went dark and they weren’t connected to the Internet. Stand alone, yet it managed to knock out not one but three of them. That can’t be explained. Not in our world. It is so far ahead of us it’s embarrassing.

  19. 2020 election was in the bag from the get go IMO Now if the D's want to win 4 more years they better change courses, if the R's win there's no difference other than how long it takes for them (both parties) to get to the same goal! 1 party behind the scenes with different names I imagine D's will pick a quality candidate in 2024 and make it very interesting... DeSantis is a lock IMO it'd be very hard for the media to trash him and have good evidence to back up the claims, your not convincing all the never trumpers that everything out in the open is fake news and their voting for him next time... this country has millions of folks and these are the clowns we're left with... embarrassing

  20. Well then you haven’t been paying attention. Even the president the other day said that the 9 mm round blows lungs out of the body. HUH??? Then he said there is no reason to use them for self protection or hunting and all we should have is the .22. Has he done it yet? No because it’s against the constitution. He cannot make his own laws and they have to come from Congress. If you don’t think the president wants to take self-defense handguns, much less rifles, you have not been paying attention. That is but one small example of the rhetoric coming out from the left.

  23. Exactly him. I always look on YouTube to see if someone has uploaded some highlights of him in high school. I saw him play against Sterling on the freshman team first game of the year and later that year he was up on varsity playing on a team that eventually went to the state semifinals. He seemed like a cross between Tony Dorsett and Lawrence Taylor. He must have had 8 sacks and 250 yards rushing the game I saw him. It was against other freshmen, but man he was good. Future NFL player David Givens was evidently on the same team in Humble I later found out and I didn't even notice him. That's how much better Mills was than everyone else. Sorry to detail the thread.

  26. Utter nonsense. Accepting serious risks in the job is true. Committing suicide is not. I can play out a scenario in my mind where we could easily get through the door, several officers are going to rush in like we have been taught, (which is extremely dangerous but hey, it’s what we signed up for) and we take out the bad with a known risk of injury or death. Since I get to pick my thoughts, it is easy to assault the room. I have practiced it hundred of times and spending 10 years old swat, have actually done it few times in real life. That’s easy since I get to pick my own fantasy. What happened in this case is the big question. I have repeated this probably more than a dozen times in different forums but….. it was a steel door in a steel frame which was deadbolted. I also have read but not confirmed that the door opened outward. It would be extremely difficult to break the door in if the door opened inward and almost impossible if the door opened out right. So for any officer who makes the claim that he would simply go in, OK, how will you get in? This wasn’t a guy behind a wooden bedroom door. It was a steel reinforced door with a guy on the other side with a high power rifle with rounds that would likely go through the door and kill someone on the other side. How many minutes and how many officers are going to die by trying to get into this nearly impossible task? One officer pries on the door and a shot killed. To office re rush up to pull him away and two more move up to try to pry open the door. They are shot and go down. So now we have three officers down and two want to try to get into the room. How long does this continue and how many officers are not breaching the room, will continue to die for the sake of claiming to have tried to do something? BUT……. maybe they had the means to get in within a few seconds. Maybe the Border Patrol had explosive charges to make an explosive entry. Maybe they had some hydraulic door breaching tools so they could potentially get in quick enough. There might be a very good reason for waiting for the key to get in because that might have been the only practical means of entry. Then the question becomes, when did the key arrive? That is a lot of maybes and what ifs. Any officer that claims he would’ve gone in is doing so in the fantasy played out in his mind where he gets to set the scenario. MAYBE that was actually possible but do we know? Has anybody seen any evidence that state how the officers could have gotten in earlier? I mean you don’t have to prove it to me in a court of law, simply come out and make the claim. Let the DPS commander say we now know that the key was on scene within three minutes and the BP had the ability to make explosive entry eventually within about 10 minutes of the incident starting but we held back. Okay, now we are getting somewhere. Monday morning quarterbacks and Chairborne Rangers all know the answers, I just wish they would share them with the rest of us.
