  1. Some info from Justice Aleto's majority opinion: "We therefore hold that the Constitution does not confer a right to abortion. Roe and Casey must be overturned... ...and the authority to regulate must be returned to the people and their elected representatives." This is upholding the 10th Amendment. Those that are against this opinion clearly shows how Un-American and Anti-Constitution these people are. I've always said here that the Congress never passed an abortion law. And since there was no right to an abortion in the Constitution, it was clearly made up out of thin air. Anyone notice Antifa is involved in the not-so peaceful protest?! Plus -- anyone notice that the FBI and the Attorney General is no where to be found concerning this violence??!!

  3. I wouldn't feel so bad about losing to Carthage if I were you. in 2015 Waco LaVega was a straight up BEAST! Carthage played them the next game after yall and was lucky to get the 3 points they did in a 39-3 spank spank by LaVega.

  4. I'm high on PNG because of what they have coming back but it's just hard to predict anything with a first year coach? On one hand I feel like with what they're returning anything less than 10-3 would be somewhat disappointing. On the other hand I feel like 9-4 with a first year coach is dang near as solid as it gets. 1. FB Marshall - Most pedigree in recent years, most talent and the best proven head coach to date. I have a feeling they'll be out to prove a point this year and their non-district schedule of Klein, Crosby and Alief Taylor should have them more than ready for district play. I think they'll play Liberty Hill in the semis 2. Texas City - If they could score they might be in the conversation to battle for the region. Expect a lot more of the same of what you saw from them last year. The only real impactful loss they had is their QB and according to the TC fans his little brother is better anyway. 3. PNG - Like those old BH teams, PNG is still struggling to defend on the edges. We'll see what the new offense looks like but picking them 3rd really should matter since they went three deep from the three-hole anyway last year. 4. Dayton - It will only be the 5th game of the year but I think they go over to Mid-County and play the Dogs for a playoff spot. Biggest question I have is if Dayton can stem the tide of being beat down at the line of scrimmage the last several years? 5. Nederland - No doubt their biggest game is MCM but if Ned can't beat Dayton at home week 5 they might be on skates the rest of the season. The 27.5ppg they averaged last year won't get it done this year either. Ned needs several pieces but it wouldn't surprise me if they end up with the best statistical defense in the district. 6. Galena Park - Went to their playoff game with PNG last year and was pretty surprised with how decent they were at the line of scrimmage. That being said, their skill guys left a lot to be desired. They're going to give a couple teams some tough nights with that style of offense but that about all they'll probably do. 7. FB Willowridge - They have a new coach and those Mo City athletes are nothing to sneeze at but it's hard to see them putting it together enough to really cause any trouble in the district. I will say though, be careful going over there to play them as it will be a long ride to an unfamiliar place which usually causes some discomfort. 8. Bye Week - most teams should be able to go undefeated against them. 9. Santa Fe - Situation is borderline HISD level as far as competition. No explanation needed as I'm sure it's tough enough for them. I would not at all be surprised to see three of the top 5 teams in the region come from this district. I think other salty teams in the region will be Austin LBJ, Leander Rouse and possibly Bryan Rudder.

  7. Even you must realize that to passed legislation, you have to have the votes. It takes at least 60 votes in the Senate to override the filibuster. It is the same reason now that even though the Democrats have a one vote majority in the Senate, they cannot get any legislation passed without at least some Republican support. Every single Republican could vote for overturning Obamacare and it still cannot get to the president’s desk.

Other than the 3 point loss to LBJ in SC game, Vidor played CH the closest in playoffs, only losing by 5. That’s after the Pirates were down to 3rd string RB. Just numbers, but still, I agree. Pirates should’ve definitely been in top 25. Still, something to be said about the element of surprise. Sure will miss that man/child at NG.

  13. No Fool, he’s been living in our pockets. One man doesn’t control the 3 branches of government. It’s amazing how the Republican Party has plenty of RINO’s to undercut the Republican agenda but the Democrat party doesn’t have any DINO’s to undercut there agenda. Lol . It want be funny when you and your family doesn’t have good health insurance thru your company because they can’t afford it anymore to keep the shareholders happy an you have to go to a one payer crappy government health care system like Canada. 😎

  16. Most insurance companies has always had a high risk pool for people with pre existing conditions you just had to pay a enormous amount of money to be covered so with the Unaffordable Care Act now EVERYONE has to pay an enormous amount money to be covered. So let’s screw up everyones health insurance to cover a small high risk preexisting pool of people. You cannot force a private company to take on a customer that they know their going to lose money on, so the companies said ok we’ll just Jack up everyones rates to cover preexisting conditions. That’s such a awesome good thing the Democrats did. Lol That is like demanding a insurance company cover all your home damage after a hurricane , even though you didn’t have insurance with them before the hurricane hit. Smh

    This Board Needs....

Friday afternoon I went to the liquor store on my bicycle, bought a bottle of scotch and put it in my bicycle basket. As I was about to leave I though to myself if I fell off the bicycle the bottle might break. So I drank the bottle before I cycled home. It turned out to be a very good decision because I fell off my bicycle seven time before I made it home.

  20. From the way I have read this case, this is what it comes down to it. We all know Supreme Court decisions have said that teachers in class or at school functions cannot lead prayer. The Supreme Court has said however that everyone has a right to pray at any time as long as it does not interfere with the rights of others. So if you’re in the middle of English class, you can’t walk up in front of class it’s start chanting verses because that disrupts a class and interferes with rights of another person. You can sit in your seat and pray anytime you wish. If I am reading yes case correctly, a football coach has a duty to the school and the law. His team played a football game and it is over. He could have just as well walked up to the district superintendent in the stands and asked, “Am I now off duty and free to go where I wish?” I cannot imagine any other answer other than, yes. You can go to the locker room and talk to your kids, you could drive to a fast food place and get your burger or you can go home. So the coach walked to the football field, kneele and says a brief prayer. Did he violate the constitution? Did he interfere with anyone else’s right to go about their business or have their rights violated? The game is over and some players have headed to the locker room. So are hanging around and mingling with a crowd, talking to parents etc. Some have gone to where the coach is saying a prayer and decided to pray with him. did they violate anyone’s right? Since they are now free to go, can they pray as they wish? Just just not seem like a difficult decision. A coach on his own time and within his own constitutional right, he decided to pray. He interfered with no one else and he’s not compelling anyone to do anything. Fo that he was terminated. It seems it was the coach who had his First Amendment rights violated, not any students or anyone else. Not a constitutional right but written federal law in the EEOC, it appears that he has a job discrimination claim against the district. Federal law bans discrimination at work based on sex, race, national origin, religion, pregnancy and age (which is over 40). So was he off duty and they completely blew his rights out of the water by saying that he cannot pray on his own time or he was on duty and not allowed to pray when it does not interfere with his job? Either way this coach should get a hefty settlement of the school district. The strangest part of this decision was the fact that three liberal judges felt that he had no right to pray and he violated someone else’s constitutional rights when he did.

    WEST ORANGE-STARK 2022

I agree. Hooks and Thompson had full control and administration and the board ha no control over them. They had their way and that was it. Now they have someone that they have full control over and the rules ways of doing certain things are about to change. The kids and certain parents are going to whine about some things need to be changed and they will be changed to cave in to the cry babies and it will all snowball. The days of the way things were run under DH and CT are gone and that will be the end to what was a great program.
