Got a weird deal so I wanted to ask if any of you seen anything like this. Our cat, Maise, about 50-50 indoor/outdoor was out and seemed afraid to come in. After wife called her while she was hunched down on ground, looking at porch, she finally came running in. Now she won’t go out. Goes to door, sniffing, and is skittish about every noise. About a month ago, our daughters cat (they live right next to us) quit going outside. Was like that about 3 weeks. Now goes out but stays close to front door. Never seen a cat do this before. Ours appears scared to death. Anyone seen this before?1 point

It's going to be an interesting dynamic in the opener. PAM is going to have to defend an unfamiliar offense outside of what they'll see on film from the PNG scrimmages and PNG is going to have to defend PAM's speed with players who will probably still be unsure of exactly what their assignments are. Could make for a closer game than it seems to be on paper, especially playing at The Reservation where you're already down once you step off the bus.1 point -
That Berkeley Professor doesn’t think men can get pregnant. It’s all a part of the master plan of creating confusion, especially in the minds of youth. If we let this way of thinking take hold, our future generations will be mindless zombies. I’m afraid it has already affected a lot of youth today. Some of the youth hiring on under me have poor skills and math kicks their butts. All they want is their phone and a paycheck. Putty brains.1 point

L.Q. Jones, ‘A Boy and His Dog’ director and veteran Western actor, dead at 94
LumRaiderFan reacted to 1989NDN for a topic
Good find, LumRaiderFan. J.E. McQueen, aka LQ Jones, graduated from PN-G in 1944. It was just Port Neches High School in 1944. He was voted most popular boy and a member of the National Honor Society. Born in Beaumont, educated in Port Neches and at the University of Texas, and found stardom in Hollywood. A life well lived. I remember him from Gunsmoke, Bonanza, and Charlie's Angels. RIP, Mr. Jones (McQueen).1 point -

IMPORTANT INFO 2022 DCTF MAGAZINE
TrojanMoJo reacted to Dirty_but_Dazzling for a topic
If you wish to get a copy of Dave Campbell's Texas Football at a retail location, magazines will not be available until late July or early August. We apologize for the delay — we very much want you to have the magazine! — but unfortunately, that is the quickest that the bulk of our magazines can be printed and distributed to retail stores. That is why I made my comment. Drunk drivers are a rolling homicide waiting to happen. I arrested a guy one time who went off the road and hit a tree in the middle of the neighborhood. I might’ve been kind of chewing him out for his stupidity along with the arrest (before cameras). His comment was something like, yeah but I didn’t hurt anybody. My answer to that was, great but with kids all over this neighborhood, it is by the grace of God you did not cut one in half between your car and that tree. I think I made him cry. I know it was my job but I have seen so many dead people from intoxicated driving including small children. It is disgusting that people will not call a ride, will not call an Uber, will not stay where they’re at, etc. I wish there was mandatory sentencing of at least a week and I don’t mean with good time on the weekends. Once you were convicted, you must do at least seven days in the county jail for the first offense. The way it is now, even if they give you a 30 day sentence, it can usually be reduced to 15 days for good time and then you could show up Friday night at the County Jail and get out early Sunday morning and get three days credit unless it has changed.1 point

Trump was a failed experiment. But it shows the lengths to which Americans are tired of typical DC politicians. Don't be surprised if a Reagan-type candidate, who can play many roles, emerges as a front runner. When that happens it's game over for 8 years. Either party affiliation, or independent, they will pull votes from the other side. We need unity. Not dinosaurs. #NOincumbents1 point -
DCTF 5A-D1 Pre-season Top 10
Cougar14.2 reacted to Matthew328 for a topic
I could see Tascosa over Cooper, just saying 2-5A D1 goes 5 deep..someone that's pretty good is going to miss.... Manvel needs to keep an eye on Angleton, I think they are going to be sneaky good... College Station's stud backup RB transferred to Decatur, they'll still be good but I'm not sure top ten good especially against that schedule...they will more than have their hands full in the opener against Lovejoy1 point -
Thanks for the info. I’m a warm red center guy, which only takes a few minutes on the grill. When cooking beef ribs, I coat them with bbq sauce for a while before cooking. Get grill HOT and the sauce creates a good char without overcooking the inside. My son & I are the only two that like them this way, so when whole family is together, it turns into a balancing act, lol. Others like pink center except SIL who likes his meat done (sacrilege).1 point
