Yes he can. After taking over the offense, he showed so much improvement thru the season. He definitely wasn't the same by the end. He got the ball out against eventual state champion China Spring. Just too many drops. Timing with WRs will be key to keep from being too one dimensional. We can't compete at that level if we lose our all time leading rusher like last year. Shaw and Mallet aren't Gales, at least not yet. Mallet, only a Sophomore, has the potential to break records.

Returning Junior QB Keyshawn Robinson, last years "Offensive Newcomer of the Year" took over the job mid-season.

For Those Following the thread: Tiger Stadium Update as of July15th, 2022 If I understand the construction stages then the field drainage itself is complete with the Base gradation finished. Looks to me like the surface gradation is being installed now but hasnt been completed. Guess we will see because it looks like the rubber infill has been delivered for the synthetic turf and that turf normally is installed after the surface grade is complete. If parking was taken into account then PNG should not be on the list. Vidor has plenty of parking (at the elementary school across from the high school) you just have to walk but at least you aren't having to park on the street in front of peoples houses.

Other than the 3 point loss to LBJ in SC game, Vidor played CH the closest in playoffs, only losing by 5. That’s after the Pirates were down to 3rd string RB. Just numbers, but still, I agree. Pirates should’ve definitely been in top 25. Still, something to be said about the element of surprise. Sure will miss that man/child at NG.

Vidor was 8-2 , won district with 7 starters returning on both sides. Their Jv was 9-0 and District Champions. I wouldn't sleep on them

Vidor thrives as the underdog, so I won't be surprised if they make some noise again this year.

Seriously, Vidor probably beats lumberton and lcm regardless of rank. It doesnt matter how high they are ranked because they arent getting past anyone in that top 10 list
