Who verified what disinformation I spread about BH and what was it? I don’t really think people in BH wanted a coach who didn’t want to be there. I’ve already said it was a joke in response to another poster’s comments. As far as this BH obsession thing, hopefully this helps. I work in Baytown. There are people who have kids that attend school in East Chambers, Anahuac, Dayton, New Caney, Dickinson, St. Thomas, etc. Bunch of geography is covered at the coffee pot. The highest percentage of people’s kids attend BH though. In 15 years I’ve only had one other co-worker who’s had a kid play varsity sports at Crosby. Right now alone I have friends that have kids at BH who play varsity football, basketball, baseball, softball and even soccer. BH fans love telling you how good their programs are so they generally dominate the majority of all sports conversation, plus that’s where the majority of them live. I’ve been to softball and football playoff games to support their kids and they’ve driven all the way to Dallas to come support Crosby because of me. Doesn’t meant you’re not going to still talk trash and take pride in beating each other. I would like to talk football too so I think a good place to start is with saving all your “quality of life” posts. Tell us about the quality of your offense instead.

I may be in the minority but I don't care much who ultimately wins this. More important is getting good pre-district work in and avoiding more injuries. I would rather go 0-2 against real good teams than 2-0 against weaker ones.

For the people who’ve seen already I was wondering if PNG’s offense looked more like Katy’s or SLC’s? One place PNG has been well above average lately is on the offensive line and I think they could be a real factor in 5A-D2 with a more Katy-style offense that highlights that. I would imagine being at SLC so long that’s probably the route though? When PNG had success with RJ it wasn’t because of how great of a passer he was, it was because they could control the game on the ground with his running ability. Morse, Crippen and Bost are all better passers than he was. It sounds stupid for me to say after losing a game 72-69 but I never thought PNG really benefited from lining up and trying to play basketball with teams that had better athletes than them on the outside. You see BH was able to beat FB Marshall last year because of how dominant their offensive line was. Very interested to see how Coach Joseph uses PNG’s personnel versus what Faircloth saw. On the PAM side of things I know they have to replace a lot but it still feels like they should be two or three scores better than a team they’re superior in talent to that also has a head coach making his debut. I know with it being somewhat of a rivalry game weird things can happen but if PAM is going to win the 10 games I think they can this year then they should probably be able to take care of PNG relatively cleanly.

Can new PNG defense hold up vs. the size, athleticism, speed & fast paced offense of P.A? Offensive Master Mind Faircloth is gone. Pressure is on the new rookie coaching staff at PNG, rookie PNG OC that's never called plays vs. strong P.A. defense & P.A. coaching staff tired of hearing they choke in big games should lead to a P.A. win.... But you can never count out the Indian pride, tradition, fight & HOME field advantage at the Indian burial ground.

BH wins the Dickenson Volleyball Tournament. Day 1 BH wins 2-0 vs Pasadena BH wins 2-0 vs Lee BH wins 2-0 vs Dickenson Day 2 BH wins 2-0 vs Clear Brook BH wins 2-0 vs Foster BH wins 2-1 vs Manvel BH is 16-2 on the season.

King could have put up a better showing against King but they were one dimensional on offense. They lined up very well with them. I’m really surprised they are on our schedule. Very tough comp for the cougar in wk one. However I think we’re going to surprise some folks in wk 2 by dominating FBM

Newton is playing a better team this week then woodville.

Just went back and watched that Shadow Creek vs CE King game from the second round last year. King had SC down 40-14 in the third quarter before they really got off the gas. King dominated SC at the LoS which makes me a little more worried about our game with them since they’ll be even better on the defensive line this year. Look how much bigger than SC they look in the trenches once the game starts. I think Katy and Summer Creek will probably replay it in the regional final in 6A-D2.

Don’t envy the OT who lines up against him. Talk about a long night having to try & block him every play. And in the rare game there is a OT who can do it physically, he’ll out quick him.

I seen Zeno as a freshman and thought he was the next great difference maker at QB at HF, now he's a SR and back at the QB position. I'm taking HF.

Couldn’t have been that bad. They did beat OF in that scrimmage.

As expected, PAM Coaches whine & cry over scoreboard at The Reservation shows them down 14-0 before game even starts. PNG Officials don’t understand the problem. One PNG Coach in the press box slams down his iPad in frustration. Accuses PAM Coaches of overreacting.

After watching the Silsbee & OF scrimmage I think Vidor Wins

As long as mother nature lets everyone play this coming week it don't matter what field they play on. Good luck in the upcoming season and may any injuries be to an absolute minimum.

Confirmed by Coach Smith, game has been moved to Vidor. Last three days of rain has caused the project to slow. Also with the forecast of more this coming week it was going to be difficult to get the field ready on time. Field will be ready the following week for Homecoming against Huffman.

14.2 is a legend in his own mind. He talks about Crosby like their Aledo or North Shore. Crosby Is a good team, but not on the level he thinks.

Don’t forget that he even talks to people that make 800k a year! They even allow him to bring them coffee every once in while.

And before you get an attitude with me you should know this. You might be able to bench 400 pounds but I can type 34 wpm.

Don’t really have a score prediction, just hoping for a win with no injuries. I believe there will be some growing pains offensively with us having a QB playing his first game as a QB in the Slot T but I think he’ll get better as he gets more live action. The multiple 2 way players is concerning also but I have faith the coaches will get the kids in the right spots to be competitive. Lets Go Pirates!🏴‍☠️

Hopefully it's an injury-free game and of course a Titan win. I think a certain person has learned a lesson that if you get a big lead at The Rez you keep your foot on their arse and don't let up, I hope we don't blow a big lead this time.

I think it’s awesome that Franklin is branching out to play Woodville and then Diboll and Jasper even though it’s a long drive for all schools. Hopefully SETX represents well against the defending champ. Franklin closes the regular season with Lorena, Yoe, then LRA…brutal. They will be battle tested for sure.
