Football season is upon us, and it’s the time of year where posters get all up in their feels and start breaking forum rules. I encourage everyone to read through them if they’re new to the site, or if maybe it’s been awhile and you need a refresher. To help you out, I’ll go over a few of the ones that usually get broken here for your reading pleasure, and even provide a few examples for you: No profanity. This includes using symbols. Obviously not all profanity is created equal, but for certain words, or for using them to describe someone else, you’ll catch a ban pretty quick. Keep it civil: no abusive or racial comments. acceptable: I disagree with that. unacceptable: you’re an idiot. acceptable: you’re wrong about that. unacceptable: You’re an idiot. acceptable: quit asking me the same thing over and over. unacceptable: I’ll answer you when your mom leaves. I think y’all get the point here. Stick to the topic. This can get a little fuzzy at times, and it’s okay to bring up someone’s comments on a previous thread, within reason. acceptable: when this team played last week you were saying something different. unacceptable: in the Benghazi thread on the political forum you made a point I disagree with. Acceptable: LCM is down 10. If they lose and we win this one, we’re tied for first in district! unacceptable: I just saw that Carthage is up 35 on Marshall. They’d destroy this team if they played. again, use common sense. and finally, and probably most importantly, no bashing of teams, coaches, individual players, or communities. acceptable: the quarterback is struggling with his accuracy today. Unacceptable: this quarterback is garbage. Bench him! acceptable: the secondary can’t cover their receivers. Unacceptable: man, their wide receivers are torching #3! acceptable: I don’t like coach Harris’ game-plan. Unacceptable: this coach is a moron! Fire him! acceptable: I think Johnson is a better option at running back. unacceptable: this team isn’t going to win until they quit handing the ball off to Williams. acceptable: Hamshire Fannett doesn’t have enough parking, and needs turf. Unacceptable: The HF stadium sucks. They should bulldoze it. acceptable: this is a tough matchup for Williams. unacceptable: Williams isn’t good enough to be on the field in this one. He’s single-handedly losing the game for us. acceptable: it seems like we have to problems with the fans every time we go to Caneyhead. Unacceptable: everyone who lives in Caneyhead is white trash. Use your common sense here once again. It’s understandable to get frustrated with teams, players, facilities, and communities. If you can’t find a way to respectfully make your point, just keep it to yourself. i appreciate your time here, gentlemen. Believe it or not... 26 carries w/ 9 Different players rushing the ball. Silsbee is so deep at RB that a main rusher might not be happening this year.

Just playing around here and watched the video you posted on June 6th. I teach and work with these people everyday. I hold 3 and 1/2 college degrees (postponing retirement by at least 4 years because of it) and I will be the first to tell you for many the degree they have is as useful as a warm bucket of hamster vomit. Also, really fun in in-service meetings watching the, "my vocabulary is much more extensive than yours" games. Thanks for all your posts. Also, of note and I am sure you will appreciate it, my brother refers to me as the educated idiot of the family. He's probably right.

Having worked in BISD when all of the theft, fraud, and malfeasance went on, I still get angry when I hear about these stories. I’m not sure if I’m more angry about the crimes that took place, or about the way that many of the criminals were given a free pass by (parts of) the community. The crimes were incredibly well-documented and poorly concealed. The people who exposed the corruption were drug through the mud, and multiple members of the school board who allowed it to happen were re-elected after the state mandated takeover was complete. I’m so glad to be out of there.

Our educational system is fouled up. We argue about CRT & Gender education in our schools. The Left defends it, but wait, what are we teaching our children? That 🐂💩 they’re teaching explains a lot. For instance, I recently heard that Wendy’s, losing sales to McDonald’s Quarter Pounder, came out with a 1/3 pounder. Sales were abysmal, so Wendy’s took a survey asking why. The most common response, folks wanted the 1/4 pounder because it had more meat. So not only do kids not know what gender they are, they also don’t know that 1/3 pound is more than 1/4 pound. Hate to bust the educators bubble, but those of us who graduated in the 60’s not only knew our gender, we knew a little about fractions. Today……….not so much.

Unwoke, here is a change I would make. We moved our best defensive player to qb. I'm not saying he is a bad qb, not at all. Kid is 110% every play. But, with him at qb we lose him at linebacker. It is a huge loss on defense. I dont think his upside at qb is worth losing him at linebacker. Odom is a BEAST at linebacker. Teamwise we are much better with him on defense. He is 1 of the best linebackers we've ever had. Ain't no way he shouldn't playing in the middle of that defense

My take on LCM. There oline and Dline are good and will be tested by WOS. Honestly HJ was not good and years back LCM would have struggled with them during the Crouch years and id complained everyone would say its not the coaches fault😂. LCM threw the ball decent but the qb has to make better decisions and that comes with time. From my understanding Nederland was bad too. Im hearing there is not much of a passing game with WoS but they have some good running backs. The only two times that LCM beat WOS was when LCM was stronger, bigger and faster. So i do believe WOS has the all around speed in this match up. This isnt a district game so with that said this game does not determine LCM or WOS season. Its good work for both teams. I hope both teams make deep runs in the playoffs

Anyone that thought Crosby would stay within 30 of King was delusional. King has probably 22 of the top 25 athletes on the field. It has nothing do with injuries or a fumble. I don't want people that aren't watching the game to be misled. King would beat Crosby by 25 or more ten out of ten times. They are probably averaging 35 yards per offensive play
