I have attended high school sporting events for many decades. One thing I have learned, regardless of sport, the bleachers are full of coaches. (game officials too)

I think there's a good chance Lancaster gets Longview this year. I watched both of LV's games with McKinney Boyd and Marshall and Lancaster looks better on the hoof and also faster. LV's QB still forces it to Hale and I think they're running game with Tatum is containable. They're probably smaller than FB Marshall on the defensive line and while they're dbs are highly rated it seems like there's still a good amount of space for receivers to make plays in the secondary if there's a competent QB that can get it to them. On the flip side though, their collection of talent is so great that it really doesn't matter what they have going on right now.

I get it, but Lance is our guy and I appreciate what he, Francis, and Rachel do for the PN-G kids. Two games into the season & many of us have given up on Ned & Vidor. Nederland, just on tradition alone, will surprise some with their season record. Vidor, just based on last year & an undefeated JV from last year, will almost assuredly start playing better. As a fan, I’m concerned about the starts, but I’ve got to believe these two will end up respectable at season end. For all the Pirate & Bulldog fans, I hope I’m right. Go Black & Gold!

Not sure your judgement on football players talent is very good if you say there are not any good young players starting for Ned. Since you been against them before the season even started. I think you have a personal issue & will down play these young players no matter what they do?
