Give the new guy some time WOS fans. When was the last time a HS had back to back HOF coaches with long tenures? Most schools would love ONE in their history. You guys have had a hall of famer in the head set for over 40 friggin years. Hickman may be just fine. But bottom line is it was almost going to be impossible for the Mustangs not to miss a beat. All coaches are not created equal and legends don’t grow on trees. And congrats to PNG. Hope this is more about how tough the Indians are vs WOS taking a step back. Certainly looks like the Indian defense has had a major makeover which is exciting. Man some of the teams recently with a stellar defense could have really made some runs…

Tonto looks like he’s going to be collecting some scalps this year. Very nice win by the Indians. Coach Joseph looks like he might be bringing daddy’s defense to town.

Silsbee couldn't run the ball last night like they would like to but Nederland's defense had something to do with that. Silsbee had to go to the air much more than what Coach Smith likes to do (27 pass attempts). If the Tigers can maintain balance in the offense, with how this defense is playing right now, Silsbee will be a force the rest of this season. O-line play is the key to that run game and I see it improving as the season goes along.

West orange is tackling poorly. Png defense looks like a new creature, hasn’t been this disciplined since 2009. West orange doesn’t look like itself. But that png d line is playing like old west orange. Wild and tough.

Imagine saying the team that's been the State Championship and State Semifinals the last two years is not well coached. The shear amount of cognitive dissonance needed to derive that opinion is stunning.

I am a Baytown Lee fan through and through. I did live for six years about five minutes from Ridge Point, so I have some interest in them as well. i dont know what I have against Crosby. I will need to be really introspective and figure that out perhaps. I don't think I was being too unreasonable yesterday though. I think Lee has better coaching and Crosby has way better size and athletes. That is my assessment still. I think Lee could have won the game with a near perfect effort. Had Crosby played near perfect they could have probably won by 50. I just happen to think that there is a higher likelihood of Lee playing at close to their best than Crosby due to the coaching. I will keep thinking of why I don't like Crosby and see what I come up with.

As bad as the offense looks, I'm super concerned with the defense. The scheme switch has completely screwed what used to be our bread and butter.

Absolutely the worst I've seen WOS in over 20 years. Can't tackle. Offense looks even worse.

Crosby only has three plays. Luckily they work a bit due to their athleticism. Throw right laterally, throw left laterally and chuck it up for grabs down field. Lee has completely shut down any running game. One of the chucks went for a TD after the defender missed the sure INT. Lee is one missed 4th down conversion on 4th and short deep in Crosby's territory away from being up at the half.

Don't forget to keep the game updated, I'm sitting here in the va hospital watching for. By the way, the heart valve replacement went great and I should be out tomorrow. One step closer to new lungs.

The reason wos fans are pissed off is cause expectations are high every year. Not like the other school around here. Wos had expectations to getting to the state championship every year. While other teams in the area are satisfied by just winning a district championship. I see why wos fans are furious right now. Cause they haven't played like a team that has a chance to make it to state this year

In 2015 Jack Dallas was their third option at qb got them a ring. That’s not genetics alone, that’s a system. You can’t win with athleticism, hard work, or coaching alone… it’s a combo. It’s not luck that LCM picked up Peevey and started playing actual ball. WOS will be good, but great is still a big question mark. New coach has some big shoes to fill and my money says that WOS fans will regret hiring a coach solely based on a single qualification that has nothing to do with scheme.

Man don't even know what to say, PNGS BIG O LINE just opened up the holes all night. Defense played lights out. Offensively Tommy Reed runs hard and with reckless abandonment. He threw a stiff arm tonight that was unbelievable. The Adam's kid is making his own statement as well 4 tds tonight. We have another kid just waiting to shine at rb as well. The Chatangier kid Blair, is the son of non other than Ron Chatangier who needs no introduction at all. It's gonna be a fun year alot of football to be played. It's nice to see the kids playing defense. The offense getting better too. Good luck to WOS nothing but respect for you program . Yall will regroup.

Stink or not, they were big and had a bunch of athletes and Lumberton put it on them in all phases of the game. Some can’t accept it but Lumberton has speed and athletes too.

THIS WO-S will be just fine. A little growing pains, yes, but the talent will eventually shine through.

Tommy reed and the defense led the indians to a big w last night no one seen coming let's keep it going PNG only up from here . Wish we could see memorial again I think it would be a different story

WO-S has been known for the 50 defense and a coach that comes from a background of not managing a defense, decides to change it, not a good recipe for success. I think for those that thought WOS was succeeding on talent alone might have a wake up call over the last 2 games (hopefully).

Eagles playing with a hangover, up 21-7, I guess......Needs to be cleaned. Not playing like the first two. I expect a better second half.

WOS defense evidently retired last year also , LCM scored 5 TD’s last week and PNG running at will .

The play calling for PNG has been excellent.

Well we took one on the chin tonight 35-30 Corrigan-Camden over The Wildcats. That #3 & #6 are quick on their feet. Y’all’s offense was fast, we just didn’t play physical football like we’re about to do. Good Luck to CC in district
