I don't think its Texan Live, I think its the local school districts. I could be and may very well be wrong but I believe its up to the school districts to decide if they want Texan Live to broadcast their game/s.

Crosby has nothing to lose. They are the smallest school in 5AD1 in the state. Yes, the fans have high “expectations”, but the season is still early and many players are still out. Just because BH fans have an expectation level of “making the playoffs”, doesn’t mean our players have everything to lose.

Everybody that's been on this board for any number of years is well aware all my kids are #14, I've been doing this for over a decade on here. It's going to be a lot more than 5 years, I have young nephews and another young son. I love it too! So you're saying you on here talking trash and don't even have the DNA to produce a varsity football player? Makes sense now.

Lol, he said they were bigger. Last time I checked png has been bigger than us for the last 30 yrs. My first problem with this was.why didn't they look at how w.o been able to be png in recent years ?? And after png first possession they threw an INT. Why,all of sudden u run a cover 3. And everytime we substitute its always players going into the game not knowing what to do.all I can say is hoping for better days !!

Back in the “old days”, when one went down it was usually over. Today once someone goes down the other jumps on him/her and pounds & kicks. IMO, that’s where criminal charges should come into play. Based on what’s going on today, I’m so far out of touch with our society/laws. Criminals are instantly released. The victim will probably be sued if him/her defends himself. Ever see a movie where the actor says a line & it’s so profound you remember it? Sometimes they come to mind in a similar situation. In No Country for Old Men, this one hit me - “I think if you were Satan and sitting around trying to think of something to bring the human race to it’s knees, what you would probably come up with is narcotics”. That line is so true, and you can see it happening now. The reason I brought it up, while listening to the news this afternoon, that quote came to me in a paraphrase - “If someone. or group, wanted to destroy America, what better way than electing Joe Biden”. Really! Think about it. Virtually everything he’s done has been destructive to this Country. Runaway inflation - Open Borders - Rampant crime - Weakening the military via woke programs - Destroying our educational facilities. That’s just the highlights. I really think we’re giving Hill to much credit for the success at WR against Crosby. Every play that Herndon scored on was a corner blitz with the safety cheating over. WR 6’3 corner 5’11 its a no brainer once the CB stayed home it was a wrap. They caught CHS DC off guard by having some talent at that position. TC watched the film and shut that ish down.

HJ is still the cream of the crop. They lost the best 4A player in the state, but still have two players coming back who received all-state honors from various organizations, and 6 of their main 8 players from last year. I don't know if they'll make it to state again, but I don't see anyone in this area giving them too much of a game unless they've lost a player or two that I don't know about.

Depending on how you want to look at it BH is either in a better or worse situation than Crosby. Yes, their increasing growth rate will naturally bring them more talent. On the other hand if that rate continues to increase it's going to get BH to 6A faster than they're probably ready for in the boys sports. The 5A-D1 cap is only 2,222 right now. Crosby will be over 2,100 at the next realignment and BH should be 100+ students larger than Crosby. BH could potentially go 6A at the next realignment without an increase in the enrollment cap, both Crosby and BH will be 6A by the '26 realignment though.

Football DOES outweight other sports in TX, but not infinitely so. You have to factor in BH won STATE in two major sports the past two years. It was history making statewide for that to have happened at the larger 5A level.

I think what everybody wants to say is Crosby posters get on here and boast that everyone sucks, but their team. Like BH not having FBS players. Schools with no big college bound kids beat schools with them every week. Crosby always talks mad trash because there’s that chance if they lose to a team like BH, they will get clowned on here and hurt their pride. Crosby has a good football team, but their not a juggernaut by any means.

Expectations. Crosby was expected to get beat by CEK, but not by a Donkey Stomp. Crosby was expected to beat FBM , but should have been by at least 14. Crosby was expected to beat Lee, but it should have been a blood bath. BH on the other hand was expected to lose to Mag West , but kept it respectful. BH was expected to beat Montgomery, but not by 4 TDS and BH was expected to beat Sterling, but not by 7 TD’s. this is what I mean

Your right you didn’t get beat by a Manvel team, you scrimmaged them (Shadow Creek) and didn’t move the ball at all during that whole scrimmage. And that’s even after the new school was built to take some of the players over there. If there is one thing you should have learned from last year was that each game is a new one. We will see if BH has learned this year what consistency is, or if they have just been beating up on awful programs.

And, NO, Lake Mead is not falling because of global warming! It's states here: When you build a city in the middle of the desert with no water, and very little rain fall and you start farming in the same type of places, like Arizona, well, eventually you'll pull too much water which will outpace the supply. You know I almost feel sorry for this crop of Peerats. I mean for the past 20 years their coach has been one of the more well respected coaches in the area and apparently LAST year playing checkers was enough to beat the rest of the district "Chess" players, one of y'alls words not mine. Now all of the sudden this coach couldn't beat himself out of a wet paper back with a GPS attacyhed to his hat and someone needs to throw a life ring to the team. Now don't get me wrong, I look forward to every year against them especially when we beat them like red headed step children but come on, give the boys a break. I'm not a Newton resident. Also, I can think on my own and have my opinion. That is not weak thinking. I hope the Eagles win and I am confident it will make the Eagles better whether they win or lose. However, my personal opinion is that WOS will edge out the Eagles this Friday. That is not knocking the Eagles by any shape or form as I think Newton can win a state title this year with the team they have. I speak highly on the Eagles and believe they are pretty darn good this year.

In honesty, It should be a good game to watch. I just think BH has to hope Crosby plays down. If BH and Crosby both play their best games I think Crosby wins, but it's high school football so anything can and will happen. Couple BH friends don't share your enthusiasm about this game that you do tho.

Actually when the Bear retired, Alabama did slip into mediocrity. It took 11 years before they made it and won another national title and that was with Gene Stallings (a former player for Bear Bryant) as HC. After he retired it was back to mediocrity until Saban came along.
