I believe you are talking about a youth league while everyone else is talking about the Buna/Kountze game from Friday night.

We Dawg fans believe we have the best high school football coach in Texas. 8 state championships. More state championships than playoff losses. SLC was a great program when got there and so was Westlake. No doubt he is one of the best but the best, I disagree. Aledo, Celina, Katy, all can claim great coaches with many state championships.

If Buna wanted to run it up they would not have agreed to a running clock.

Seems like good practice for a potential situation later in the season. All you have to do is stop them.

All of the energy toward Buna running up the score needs to stop. Kountze fans need to start asking what they need to do to get better. If a complaint is going to be sent in, it should not be on a team that has won 3 games in the last 2 years. Now Kountze will probably return the favor in basketball.

Hit that 100 and the Buna Cougars could join their brethren, the University of Houston Cougars, with that point total. Those which are disgruntled by outcome of the Buna/Kountze game can get hold of the UIL and present their point of view. Oh wait. The UIL is ran by Buna Cougars. NEVERMIND!

As politics pertains to HS Football, the Biden’s Administration refusal to uphold the Laws of the land, from protecting our Borders to turning a blind eye at everything from pickpockets to murderers, crime runs rampant. Now it may threaten HS Football. Then the chipping away at religion. Here of course that means Christianity. They’re doing everything they can to continue. No praying at school. No, not enough. This was a high school game. There is a youth football forum. I mean if your talking about youth sports maybe you need to get in contact with the lonestar league that buna is in and file a complaint. Also there is no true Select football teams in Setx. They do have a league you can join for no weight restrictions and no mercy rule.

#6 (junior) was our starter and he is out for the season with a knee injury. #12 (sophomore) is our second string…now starter. I have a senior and a 7th grader in Duncanville Isd…both play ball.

To be honest, I based it solely off of Kountze game. I really should have diagnosed the team more before making that statement. But that being said anything could happen. And I never said that Buna would beat them, just may give them a test.

I agree this is for the district championship If Diboll scores more than 40 they will be champions if it is a low scoring game Woodville wins.

I would say it will be 1. Woodville 2. Diboll 3. Coldspring 4. Shepherd With some of the coaches Coldspring has on the staff, they will get that defense turned around. Coldspring pretty much has 2-3 defensive coordinators on that staff.

Hate to say it, but they looked lost when I watched them. I think coaching isn’t that good there. They have some athletes, but the kids are clueless on assignments and make silly decisions. That’s my observation.

Doesn't surprise me. I didn't watch the complete KP/Sterling game, but was told KP started trickling in backups early 3rd qtr. Damn shame too cause when you look at Sterling they look like a good team full of good athletes, then play starts and..........well......you seen it.
