As pointed out earlier, when we got the ball on the 1 Ft line, & backups in, many coaches would’ve let them run it in. Not Matthews. The fact he is a Class Act is why he’s still HC here, and probably will be as long as he wants it. That, despite the fact many fans hate the Slot T. As I always point out, we’re 5-4 and all 5 of those victories were against spread offenses, and most with bigger, faster people. I can’t begin to tell you how many times Vidor RB’s have broken loose this year and were dragged down from behind. For other teams TD, for Vidor - another first down.

Shucks, why hold back now? And before you give the same old tired replies... YES, we know that you're tired of first round exits. YES, we know that you're PAM’S biggest fan! YES, we know that you want better for the kids. But, tell us something that we don't know for ONCE. Tell us all what's going GOOD for PAM? What's your motivation for supporting the kids of PA? (because essentially they're the ones you consistently attack)

PA was buried statewide after 1 loss. Since we poop on the coaches, credit must be given. 5 turnovers the week before in perfect weather to no turnovers in a monsoon. Great job by all involved

Definitely our coaches cannot evaluate talent. Making a game plan for the week is one thing, but installing the correct personnel is another. This is where I believe Huffman will be Huffman unless our HC holds his coaches accountable. We were definitely down this year, but in my opinion we shouldn’t be this bad. We have decent players! Just not guided correctly. We should of made playoffs!! We still can, but I doubt it!

After a disappointing lost last week I was looking forward to see how they’ll respond. … Good win.

Congrats to the Pirates, its so nice to see their hardwork payoff. I really hope they can make a playoff run, Coach Mathews is a class act.

It's interesting to see how it all worked out. I didn't think we'd be in this position going into the season. A win against Silsbee would put the program ahead of schedule and be a great springboard to the postseason.

Something else that I read (and like always have no idea if it is true) that the Pelosi’s had extensive security at their multi million dollar home. I would think this is reasonable of any millionaire of that level and particularly with threats that I’m sure Pelosi would get because of sick people taking politics way too far. ”What if” it is true about security? How did a mostly nude guy get past security which likely had personnel on scene, alarms, etc.? Personally I think it was a mentally disturbed person and nothing more should be taken from it. To make more of it from either political perspective seems ridiculous.

If only png had some of that defense a few years ago lol….

Not understanding this explaining & excuses from BH fans over a post giving Nederland team & coaches positive credit on a win over #1 BH? Not arguing anything or with anyone? BH is a top Houston area program that is hard to beat, with quality depth every year. Maybe you believe BH backups are not that good, but imo they are solid players with great skills capable of beating good teams. The only facts that matter in the books is #3 seed Nederland beat #1 seed & #1 state ranked 5A BH last night in a vball match. I hope the BH starters that were sick get well & the BH team takes things serious since it won't be meaningless in the playoffs. Like I said before Best Wishes to a great BH team on a successful playoff run & possible state title. Mike Hiltz
