And to add insult to injury some of the talent that was here always go to the other schools surrounding Coldspring at times (Huntsville, Willis, Conroe, Livingston, Shepherd and sometimes Cleveland).

This is the last home game for our seniors. Hoping for everyone to come out and show their support for these kids. Even if you don't agree with anything else. These seniors have worked hard to be Mustangs. I don't think they deserve what's happened to their season. We need to show them that win or lose, they are and always will be part of Mustang Nation. Let's do this for the kids. Mustangs get another shutout... 50-0

BH gets Porter for the final district game. BH better be ready, Porter soundly beat LaPorte (who beat BH) and only lost by 1 to PAM, who just beat BH by 14. I don't know the official tie breakers but if BH wants a playoff path this is a must win for the Eagles. Essentially its a playoff game for BH.

maybe it's because of the local stream that takes place? or that may not have one bit to do with it. Though we in this area for sure find this game worthy of their service, there are lots of other great matchups in the state with vital district seeding on the line.

Glad someone could explain this properly. Your assumption is also correct that Porter only needs to win by three points to get into the playoffs, at which point Crosby moves into 3rd place and plays Lancaster in bi-district. BH can still finish 2nd with a KP loss and a win over Porter or completely miss the playoffs with a loss to Porter by 3 points or more.

We're not the same team as years past.coaching is an issue and the kids are losing a lil confidence.i stopped going to the games after the png loss. I watches it on live.but, even in wk 11 nothing has been corrected or changed.so, I can't see them beating Bellville unless they just give us the game.which I doubt.CT had it designed to stop such offenses like this.but the new staff has no idea on how to stop it.

No negativity? There certainly was negativity about BH. Notice the snark about "pausing the playoffs for BH"? And "Word on the street" about BH the only team in TX that has injuries? BH did not ask for that. KF89, when a poster simply adds important details, that's not "making excuses". I agree with Avery. In the football forum if a team lost a QB, RB, DE and LB all at once wouldn't that be a very important item and be discussed at length? Of course it would. I would hold off on giving them the trophy. There is another defense that held 8 of 10 opponents to minus rushing yards at half time, allowed 2.7 points a game in 10 games. An offense that averages 42 points by half time. The starting defense gave up 27 points in 10 games. The offense and defensive starters have not taken a snap in the fourth quarter. QB has thrown for 2,503, 35 touchdowns, with 3 interceptions and he only played the first series in the third quarter. I can’t wait to see Silsbee and the Gobbler’s, we in the East know how good they are.

Our new HC was our former D coordinator! He will have to now be a boss to coaches he’s been buddies with the past years. It a hard thing to do but only kids suffer when position coaches dont have the oversight and can do what they want without repercussions.

LCM need not worry bout this one I think! I think our coaches trying to get ready for next year. Pretty good seniors on sideline and they refuse to use entire team to get a team win. Sad days In Huffman. I feel someone needs to be held accountable. If not it’s only going to continue.

Slot isn’t a bad offense until you fall behind or turn the ball over. Its hard to play catch up. It’s good for clock management and keeping high octane offenses off the field. If you have no turnovers and are able to execute at a high level, it doesn’t matter what offense you run.

I can think of 3 other Slot T teams right now that are steam rolling their opponents an are undefeated in their district. Go look at their numbers. Vidor 4A have 1 district loss to a very good Lumberton team. Orangefield 3A Franklin 3A Liberty Hill 5A How can that be Karen if the Slot T is such a horrible offense?

Region II is sooooooo much easier than Region III we dodge Manvel, College Station, Buda Hays, Georgetown, Angleton, Friendswood, and A&M Consolidated. We have the Frisco Lonestar, Mansfield Timber view, Lufkin, and Lancaster I really don't know whos good in region II.
