And what often gets forgotten is Longview has TWO WRs with DI offers. He kinda stands in the shadow of Hale but you absolutely cannot forget about DK Reese (#11) either, the JR 6'3 175 pound specimen on the other side of Hale. I think his number gets called more in this playoff run. Same can be said about the backfield. Tatum is Tatum but sleeping on Alijah Johnson (#15) is not recommended. It's going to be hard to defend this Longview offense, and that to me is the crazy part about this matchup. Because the Crosby offense is already going to have their hands beyond full with the Lobo defense.

I would be hesitant about NFHS doing this game. They list games all the time and end up not doing it. If TL doesn't have it on their schedule, then it's likely not going to happen. We will see.

Well I coached Jr League Football, and didn’t realize until now that it qualifies me to give constructive criticism to the Raider staff. For instance, when playing Vidor their pass defense did a wonderful job. The Pirate receiver was covered, but they let Pirate RB’s run free. One broke loose for 8 yards once. If republicans used the same strategies successfully the majority of the posters in this thread would be high fiving and celebrating. That's not an opinion, it's a fact. And speaking of facts, it's hard to be mad about democrats finding success by endorsing republicans who echo Trump's election claims. I don't really think it should be considered a dirty trick at all. If Trump didn't have so much support from the right for his claims and behavior, there wouldn't be a scourge of candidates acting the same way (losing elections).

They've had plenty of experience playing in the rain, IMO, especially 2 weeks ago vs Nederland, when they had all the rain and stormy that they could use, to gain experience. Same with midday heat. If they all are healthy and focus on their jobs rain or shine, then they'll beat anybody, including FBM and PAM.

Again, PA's numbers were shrinking. 2800 is more manageable than 4500 and PA had problems with Lincoln and TJ kids. All the whites that were going to TJ and Austin left. It wasn't all Peaches and cream when PA merged

I have attended high school sporting events for many decades. One thing I have learned, regardless of sport, the bleachers are full of coaches. (game officials too)
