  2. Oh, I'm aware that I've fallen from grace here by keeping an open mind.

  3. Played a good game vs Missouri Had a very good chance in top of 9th until one of their weakest hitters came to the plate. Just not much from the mound today. 13-4 still not bad. Hopefully win 2 of 3 in St Louis

  4. Not like AAU. UIL only allows schools certain amount of games a year. It’s like what the California schools do or get around the CIF game rule limit. Same coaches and same players. Just for fun though 😉

  6. SVB board of directors pumped millions of dollars into Democratic campaigns and causes. 1) Kate Mitchell: Donated $50,000 to Hillarious Clinton's 2016 campaign. 2) Mary Miller: Worked under obama in the Treasury Dept. 3) Garen Staglin: Donated $135,000 to Democrats, including $79,000 to Clinton's Hillary fund. SVB donated 73.45 Million dollars to BLM-related groups. SVB, Signature Bank and Credit Suisse donated 1.2 Million dollars to the Democratic Party. Rememeber, again -- only 1 board of director had any banking experience! Other than more proof of woke going broke, why else am I stating this? Because this is why The Democrats wanted this fixed and fixed fast by securing all the deposits. Look, no secret that both banks were aligned with the Democratic party. Understand, they are in Blue States with Democratic run regulatory regimes. So, this is not a Republican problem and not created by President Trump! These poorly managed banks failed because their deposit structure was not fundamental to what you'd do in a banking system!

Could very well be. Bodin tops at 94. Signed with A&M. Threw no hitter last week.

  8. IN 2018, Silicon Valley Bank had 49 Billion dollars on deposit. 3 Years later, this same bank had more than 189 Billion dollars. If this was an actual competent bank, how could you go bankrupt in such a short period of time with this amount of money?!

  9. Playing like it's AAU from what I see, it's actual HS teams just under a different name. Simeon HS from Chicago will be there, Camden HS from Jersey will be there, I believe I saw Faith Family being there too.

I think it's right up there with Schumer demanding a muzzle on the press. Which amendment is that? The 1st? Must be important to someone.

  13. Son, the smart fiscal conservatives left the room a long, long time ago. Except when it comes to the social safety nets, of course.

  14. I heard Davis not playing basketball next year. Just focusing on football.

  15. First of all, I’m expecting Dotson to blossom into the Yates type role. I’m expecting Payia to be a little better, but not on the level as Porchia. I’m also expecting Davis to step into his starting role and be VERY key to this team’s success. That along with some really talented players coming off the freshman team, one good guard off the JV team, and those two freshmen that’s on varsity that will. Sophomores next year. to answer your initial question, I think it’ll be a little more than just replacing Yates and Porchia.

  16. All charters, that have a profit motive, should not be in the UIL and should have their own power, water, and waste disposal. I don't want narry a tax dollar to go to their existance Lance Polk

  17. They may not have lost a playoff game, but loosing the chance to play in the playoffs is even worse.

  18. It’s nice to have a guy throw 92-96. It also takes a whole team to win ball games. Especially when you start playing teams that are highly ranked. Going 4-0 in the tournament they were in took a whole team. Not just one guy. He would even say that if you asked him. Can’t pitch every game even though I’m sure the coaches would love to have him out there every game. Team pitched great and swung the bats great. Hope to see a lot more of that the rest of the season.

  21. I agree with everything you said except for this…DV will be a problem for as long as they want to be. The Dallas area has by far the best basketball talent in the state of Texas, it’s not close actually IMO. With DV being able to attract kids from all over Southwest Dallas & beyond, they’d still be a problem for Beaumont if we were to go to one public school because the talent comes in waves. For example next year will likely be a huge drop off for BU in terms of success & playoff run. However I’ve been saying Beaumont needs one school for over 10 years now & everyone on here called me crazy. That’s the only chance Beaumont has to compete at the 6A level consistently.
