Im hearing the fourth one is not there yet because it's having THE MONTE put on it. It's over at the building trades class where the work is to be done

I got to meet our new Coach tonight at the baseball game. He is a nice young man but after we talked I had to do some research on where he is coming from. This past season in Chilton he was 0-19 and 0-12 in district. How do we hire a young coach that could not do well in 2A and expect him to do well here in Buna. The sad part is one of Buna's own Connell who did a great job on the boys side was passed over for this guy. Again, he is a nice guy, but it is hard for me to believe that he would do better than Connell. I'm cautiously optimistic but still left wondering how an 0-19 guy even gets an interview.

This district had some solid competition this year. Current standings are as follows 1. Orangefield (11-2) 2. Kirbyville (11-2) 3. Kountze (10-3) 4. Anahuac (8-5) 5. Buna (6-7) 6. Warren (3-10) 7. Hardin (2-11) 8. East Chambers (2-11) Barring any surprises the top 4 is locked in. I’m assuming Orangefield has the tie breaker over Kirbyville due to wining the season series 2-0. This district will face district 21-3A in Bi district.

Continued excellence! 30-2, and undefeated in District at 12-0. I think BH has won the district for the last 5 years. Of course Softball State Champions in 2021!

As an outsider it was fun seeing y'all match up with DFW teams early in the tournament.

Both are tough competition, but I rather R3 cause of travel and familiarity with opponents.

Fraudulent elections have dire consequences. I believed there’s enough good people in Chicago to vote in some one that could make a huge difference but the democratic machine has a strong hold on who counts the votes. Just sayin.

Everyone knows Jan 6 happened but it was no insurrection called on by Trump, just another lie just like a policeman had his head bashed in with a fire extinguisher (actually claimed by you) and the footage shows it completely different. You haven't been listening to me if you think I said Trump will win, I want him to back out and let it go, but once again, you can't seem to grasp what was actually said so you make it up to suit you viewpoint. If this makes you sad, you need to get a hobby, lol.

They are an incredible team. Sound defense and can hit. Thought the BH coach pulled their starting pitcher #1 a little early in the Sterling game. After getting out to a 8 run lead , I think he thought he would get the 15 or 10 run mercy rule. However , the second pitcher gave up a two run home run and then got into some walk trouble. Looked like she just ran out of fuel. Good thing they had #1 to come back in. She walked a run in and hit a batter but got them out of it. Congrats to them. Again, a great program.

Some people are so blinded by their hatred of police that it robs them of their common sense.

Rumor out of LCM is the next head coach will be the current EC coach, which looks like it would be an absolute horrible choice. Apparently they never posted the position to their website since the position opened. Why not post the position to do a complete search to hire the best possible person for a program with the history of success they've had. Not to mention, the talent. If I'm recalling correctly from LCM's own JV tournament last year, he was the coach that became belligerent towards his own players and the referees (apparently from some of the EC parents, it is nothing out of the norm). What has he done at EC? Looking at past years online, it hasn't looked to good. Is there more to his background than EC? Anybody know if they even looked at anyone else? If this hiring is true, it will be a sad day for LCM volleyball.

It won't be as often as before. Only making 2 trips to Division teams instead of 3. Hope by then we'll be 100%

You are talking emotions. I am talking law. I guess you are saying that if you were knocking on another guy’s door and he came out and threatened you with a gun with no justification and you used self defense? If the self-defense was lawful, which it likely would be in your scenario, whose property has no bearing. You can’t legally threaten to kill someone because they’re on your property. Deadly force is unlawful to use to terminate trespassing. If you shoot and kill a person for trespassing in Texas, you will likely go to jail for murder. Again, I can only go by Texas law. Pointing a gun at someone, even without a threat, is a crime unless there is a legal justification for self defense. Pointing a gun and making a threat is Aggravated Assault. So what justification do you think a homeowner has that when he hears someone knocking, he can step out and point a gun at the person? By the way, the police don’t get to side with anyone or file charges. The district attorney does that. The police chief should do what he did. He gave condolences to the family. I guess under your rationale, if UPS knocked on your door late night, you would be justified in threatening to kill him by pointing a gun while in a shooting stance. I would say you may need a good lawyer on retainer.

I saw where USC is in the mix for him. You maybe exactly right with outbid. Btw: ppl in his circle were at that USC spring game.

The fired first is a ridiculous premise. I guess if a robber pulls a knife on you and demands money, you can’t shoot until he tries to stab you? The police have just as much right for self defense as anyone else. Whose property it is on has no bearing. Did you ignore the video of the guy in a two handed shooting stance pointing at the officers… and for no legal reason whatsoever? What, a person knocked? Nothing in any comment that I have made has suggested that there be no apology. I clearly said that an apology has nothing to do with the law.

Certainly. For whatever reason, the homeowner chose to point a gun a someone without any justification. We will never know what he thought. Intoxicated? Kids knocking on his door at night and he wanted to scare them? Who knows but it appears that he made a poor and probably criminal decision.

It sure seems like Buna is having a really hard time keeping good coaches around, Whitmire/Girrola/& now Connell. Hopefully they figure it out soon enough.
