Just cause you can make up an argument doesn’t make it a good one or a legitimate one. I’m aware UIL signed off on it. As long as you are in resource classes (what we used to call special ed), you can be close to drinking age and playing high school sports. For those that aren’t, you better not turn 19 a couple of weeks before Sept. 1.

One thing about mid county madness is throw out the record books, stats, records and everything. The game is always very competitive and close, both schools bring their A game. Rivalry games are hard to judge off of.

Dak threw 15 ints in 12 games last year. He must have had bad coaches all the way through high school, college and pro!

The transfer QB from Ft. Bend Christian has had private QB training & is a member of Jenkins Elite Training founded by Tim Jenkins former NFL QB & NFL Analyst their moto is- "Where the best QB's, RB's, WR's, OL & DL, get better" . So apparently these pro trainer coaches did a poor job with their drills & mental teachings also.

I think we had the best d-line and linebackers (as a unit) in the state. Nick Gardner had an incredible performance in the state game, and throughout the playoffs.

PN-G has been blessed to have a good run of talented kids with size. The OLs and DLs over the past couple of years and continuing in 2023 have had kids with size and mobility. Mix-in some really good kids at QB, RB, WR, lots of high energy kids on defense that were great at tackling, and add-in the great coaching and conditioning and you will win a lot of games. I have no idea what they are feeding kids in Port Neches or Groves, but the Indians have had the size to control the LOS. It's good times at PN-G. Enjoy it and be thankful. The good times and bad times can be cyclical in HS football. I agree with some of the other PN-G fans. Anxious to see how our Indians will replace #2, 3, 6, 10, 11, 16, 18, 44, 45, 48, 64, 65, 68, 72...lots of really good kids on the 2022 team. In the playoffs, I'm not sure any team had better LBs that PN-G (3, 6, and 16)...tackling like their hair was on fire. Go Indians.

But it seems to contradict the 8 foot tall alien. In this evidence it seems to be very short. Maybe some were babies.

You did not have similar talent to png last year...the fact that they had a good chance to win that game at the end, could it possibly have anythng to do with coaching? If you are going to look at things, look at them in their entirety.

Also adding on the way Elam scored his buckets, maybe the opposing team’s coaches should’ve put a defensive game plan in place to stop leak outs and snow birding. Blame them. If your team’s player can snowbird and leak out, you’d be a fool not to let him continue to do it.

Seems like he'd be a great fit for their triple-option offense.

How do you know the "coaching has been poor"? What part of the practice and which drills/techniques do you think they should have done instead of the ones they chose? Or, What would you have done differently?

This is Shea. Pretty fast for his size. Nearly unstoppable on short yardage runs all season last season.

We call him scooby in Orange and he will still dunk on you to this day lol Don’t know how he slipped my mind.

Norris McGhee from 1994-97 could jump out the gym and I mean that literally. He was only about 6'3 but he was dunking in the 7th grade.

I don't think Kountze winning the district is all that out there. East Chambers lost a lot, Orangefield lost almost all their scoring, Anahuac lost the best big in the league, and Buna seems to be really down. I still have EC I think. My bold prediction is the the Dotson kid at BU signs with a major college program.
