  1. Lol, maybe in the past but if the coach doesn't check that "moved for athletic purposes" box on the PAPF then you're good. In most cases the coaches at the schools kids are leaving from know why the kids are leaving and sign their paperwork without issue. For instance, Channelview's district MVP QB from last year just transferred to CE King. Kid's family probably never even moved to Sheldon and Coach Hurts still signed his paperwork. I never said anything about CE King's old QB being D1 or going pro? I said he would be furthering his college athletic career now that he moved and had another opportunity. Going 11-1 and then winning the Bayou Bowl MVP seemed like it worked out awfully well for him vs sitting on the bench for a year. Not sure what not getting an opportunity to play in college because you sat on the bench all year would've taught him? So what did his dad gain him? A subsidized and basically free education when you add his academic aid. Make sure you're not getting the path of least resistance confused with the path less traveled. Joe Burrow wouldn't have gained anything by continuing to sit behind Dewayne Haskins and Justin Fields at Ohio State so he could "learn to deal with adversity". Matter of fact his eligibility would've expired without him even playing a meaningful snap. He believed in himself and transferred to LSU and became the #1 pick in the draft though.

  3. You would be one of the ones in the community that sabotage the coaches before they ever get started. They hired to Coach Willis to "get the job done" and empowered him (as they should) to do his job. You did not want before you ever knew a thing about him because of his age saying that they should not hire a 60 year old coach (which you were wrong about). I expect you will be against anything he does without consulting with you first.

  4. This is absolute, rock solid hard core evidence the FED is biased and weaponized as hell. They gave Hunter the equilivent of a traffic ticket, knowing that "action" is enough to stonewall the Republicans from doing much anything else. The weaponized FED and the Bidens are laughing hysterically right now. As for Hunter haveing dignity and integrity, he won't even acknowledge the little girl he fathered. Not justa crackhead and a bribe taker, but a deadbeat dad.

  5. He saw the walls closing in and hurried up into a probation for misdemeanors before some heavy prison time could be give. So President Biden’s DOJ cuts a deal to end his son any further investigation with a mere misdemeanor plea.

  9. [Hidden Content] Interesting. THIS is how a man handles himself after he gets caught. When you realize that even a crackhead like Hunter has more dignity, integrity, and for lack of a better word, is just a “bigger man” than Trump, but you’re the only person who can admit it. So much for the DOJ being biased.

  10. I think the on-field made the off-field indefensible. If BC just had a season like PNG had, they'd hire a para to run the snowcone truck for him.

  11. Thanks for admitting he was elected. What has Trump said that didn’t make sense, you know, like building a train bridge across the Indian Ocean? That would be another whataboutism.

    Hunter to plead guilty

Federal charges files against H. Biden on multiple tax counts, gun violation. So -- why are the Feds ignoring the big crimes?! You are comparing President Trump with an evil crackhead, well, you are smarter than that. Trump is 100% innocent and Biden (both) are 100% guilty. THAT is the difference!! 17. Check out the Joe Rogan podcast with him, very interesting. I've heard several folks in the media say that his speaking will hurt him (not even what he is saying but his voice) as a candidate and I don't doubt it, we seem to have folks that are more concerned with presentation than substance, sadly.

  19. Seeing as how his job is the athletic director, not just football coach, it sounds like he’s doing his job and bringing in people for all sports, not just football. That’s the part of all this people forget. Football get the most attention, the money, the most everything. I understand why but other sports, especially girl’s sports have always taken a backseat.

  22. Funny how a Kennedy isn’t getting hardly no airtime on him running for President. He’s got more credibility than any democrat candidate that I can remember in recent memory including Obama. If I were a Democrat I’d vote for him. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that his Uncle wanted to dismantle the CIA and didn’t like the military industrial complex.

  24. Because of open enrollment, your assumption there was a violation I believe is incorrect.Another QB from Clear Brook transferred to C.E.King with the notion that the Senior Qb has transferred to New Caney, and being a Junior he would be at King for 2 years. He found out another transfer was at King and he would not beat him out,so guess who was the starting QB at Clear Brook last year.None other than the young man who left Clear Brook to go to King, couldn't win the starting job and scampered back and started the 1st game. 6A must have a different set of transfer rules ( Open Enrollment ) than 5A.I know this story because I live in the neighborhood behind Clear Brook high school. There was a loss of participation at Clear Brook when he retained the starting job.

    SETX 3AD1 2023 Season

Agreed, except the group they have in the pipeline now is likely the greatest collection they have ever had. The team that lost to CS was not in the same solar system as this group. The only way they lose in the next 3 years is if they play up when they set their next "pre-district" schedule after the next alignment. They will not lose to a 4A team.

  26. Ummm, what you just explained about the NC QB is a violation of UIL rules and could cause NC to have to forfeit those wins if it can be confirmed. I hate to break it to you, but "believing in yourself" only gets you so far. Learning how to fight through adversity, compete no matter the circumstances, and adapt to a changing environment is what will help the kid actually succeed in life beyond football. I know the kid your talking about, and he's not D1 material and certainly not pro material. So what has his dad really gained him by teaching him to run away from adversity and take the path of least resistance?

    Looking at 2023-2024

I think Manvel will take a step back this year. They lost their 2 big outsides that they ran 90% of their offense through and their assistant who according to parents I have talked to basically did everything and was their real coach. Huffman and BH will continue to be strong. They didn’t lose a lot of seniors.

  28. It's a new day, with open enrollment schools everywhere parents are moving their children to a place where they have the best opportunity for success. My co-worker's son was the starting QB for CE King two years ago, a new staff came in and said they were running a different system and that the QB job was probably going to go to a kid that just transferred in. Instead of keeping him there with the new coach my co-worker got an apartment in New Caney so his son could play there. He ended up leading New Caney to an 11-1 season and furthering his opportunity to play college football. He could've stayed and learned the lesson of dealing with adversity, but he transferred and learned the lesson that "if you believe in yourself you can create your own path to success." As far as loyalty, one of Crosby's 8th grade QBs transferred to BH. The kid's dad is way more hard core Crosby than I am, and almost loyal to a fault. Now his son is in a 10x better situation because he broke that loyalty. The kids aren't leaving just because of the coach. They're leaving because it's about to be July and they haven't ran a single offensive play or defensive set. Moreover, they don't even know who's on the coaching staff yet? Willis just put out a tweet last week asking for coaching resumes, but I'm sure in his interview he told the supt. he already had everything covered. Our supt. just isn't competent enough to vet things on the athletic side. It no surprise that the 6'3" receiver transfer you were depending on contributing this season hasn't shown up to a single workout after you say you want to run the ball 80% of the time. I would go ahead and count him as gone too. At the end of the day though, the head football coach will always have support from the parents of borderline kids who just want to see their kid get on the field.

    Png 2023 ??

No, I did not. I have a good friend that lives in Groves. He told me that 2023 should be another good year for PN-G. The Indians will again have big agile kids on the OL and DL, and Shea Adams will probably play all over the field, which is a good thing because when the ball is in his hands, good things happen. I've read on this message board and on the PN-G board that the Indians have a young QB that can run and throw. #33 returns at RB and last year he proved that he can carry the load. Give DC McDaniel another big DL and more high energy kids at LB and he will stop people. The defensive game plans he put together in the 2022 playoffs were the best at PN-G in a long, long time. Last year, he knew when FBM and SOC wanted to get outside and run, so he put a stop on the edges. Then, when they wanted to run a delay or RPO, he had our kids staying in their lanes. Then, when they wanted to throw, he called the right blitz and coverage. It was a great ride. The kids (and fans) had confidence that he would find a way to get the defense to make stops. Last year's tackling was better than any team at PN-G in the past 20+ years. Those kids hit, wrapped up, and got people on the ground. I'm excited to see if the Indians can build on last year's momentum and have another great run. The 2022 team had lots of good players. Talented kids + great coaching = good mojo and wins. Go Indians.

Knew I was forgetting someone big. He WAS on that team. As was Clay Davis. Not only were they one of the most prolific scoring teams in Texas history, they produced some dang fine coaches. And what a coaching staff.

    Png 2023 ??

I’m excited. It’s sort of a “prove it” year in some ways. Was last year just a combination of great players, good coaching, and luck, or is there a proven, winning system being installed at PNG? I think we have an excellent coach, and it seems to me that the conditioning and mentality is better than it’s been in at least 30 years.
