How many points were put on the board by these "great quality" dawgs WR's vs. the quality P.A. DB's in this one hand touch 7on7 controlled passing game scrimmage?3 points

Let me get PNG by a score TD or FG. Both talented teams. Just think PNG will come in super motivated to avenge the loss and riding a wave of excitement from going as far as they did last year. Look at PAM to strike first but PNG grinds to a victory over a very tough 4 qrts. Good game for SETx football2 points

GO DAWG GO! Young man Jasper is so proud of you! It's been a pleasure and so much fun watching you play the past couple of seasons. Fortunately,(and sadly) we get to see you in a DAWGS uniform for one more season. Another reason why so many of us love high school sports! The amazing journeys and life lessons young people get to go on and and learn from are priceless. When you and the young man from Silsbee(Miller) began your highschool football careers never did you think that when it's was said and done where you would be in life. Opposing players in one of the longest rivalries in Texas Highschool Football to being two of the most popular recruits in the state and future team mates. If the Aggies other sign ons are any where close to the the caliber of players we all here in SETX know you two are then the future of football in College Station is very bright !2 points -

From the article: "Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, accepted a proposal on Twitter that would fundamentally change the way laws are passed in the country. Pitched by a Twitter user who specifically named Cruz and fellow Texas Sen. John Cornyn, the proposal stated "if both senators from any individual state" votes against a bill then "that state shouldn’t receive any benefit when said bill passes." Cruz responded: "I accept." The Republican then added: "Same for taxes & job-killing regs, right? If both GOP senators vote against them, they only apply to blue states?" Thoughts? [Hidden Content]1 point

Who is complaining? I have never been concerned about college admissions rates but I applaud the Supreme Court upholding the Constitution I am only putting out facts. So while putting out facts, the 2020 census has the White population at about 62%. The same federal government shows that Whites in college are at 55%. Nice cherry picking on Baylor. Maybe I could choose Texas Southern where out of 7,015 students, 139 are White. A country which has a population that is about 38% minorities, has a college population of 45%. So according to your percentage based analysis, Whites are underrepresented in college according to the federal government. So who is complaining about the Supreme Court decision?1 point

Gotta start somewhere. Patience isn’t one of your virtues, if you have any at all. Back then, blacks composed 11-12% of the population. What are you complaining about?1 point

Well there was several players in the 50 and 60s that were great. Clayton Allen was 3A player of the year in the early 90s. McMahon was the star of the early 2000’s team that was coached by Jamie Harrison. Kreston Richardson was all state in 2015.1 point

I’ll use an example… Let’s imagine young black dude that’s in his early 30s… didn’t finish high school, has a felony, 4 kids by 3 different women, won’t show up for work five days a week, can’t hardly speak the king’s English, and has a neck tattoo. Can’t even get a TWIC card to get into the plants. That’s all systemic racism, oppression, 400 year legacy of slavery, and white privilege all working against him…. That’s what you’d have us believe. Except the guy really does exist… I know him-it’s all true except for the part about being black. This dude is white. I can freely admit that this guy is a screwup. But you can’t consider the possibility that our imaginary black guy is to blame for any of the problems he has. It’s all racism. You cry about systemic racism, but you can’t point to a single policy in effect today that negatively affects black people. On the other hand, until yesterday we could look at affirmative action in college admissions as just one of many codified examples of policies that “help” blacks people at the expense of other racial groups. Privilege is a lie.1 point -

You are not in the Constitution, the president is. The only constitutional requirements are being over 35 years old and not having served more than two prior terms. I always find humor in the idea of the protest vote as in, I am not voting because whatever or I will not be voting Democrat or Republican this election. You can skip voting altogether, go into the booth but turn in a blank ballot, vote for a third party, stomp your feet, hold up protest signs outside of polling places or if your state allows, write in any name, even Mickey Mouse. In January 2025 either the Republican or Democrat candidate will be sworn in as the next president however. Both Republicans and Democrats often use the phrase, “he’s not MY president!”. Yes, he is because no matter who you support, you are stuck with the policies of the person currently holding the office. So every four years we have a percentage of people who deny the legitimacy or ability of the president. Unlike boycotting a product out of protest though, where we can simply choose not to take part in it, we are stuck with the president. Voting for a third party, refusing to vote or whatever, in January 2025 a Democrat or Republican will be sworn into office.1 point -

You and I disagree… I think that your success comes from your actions, and from having a firm foundation of people in your family as examples. I think that most people who are successful and people who are unsuccessful both get there via their own actions and the support given to them by their families. A person’s race has nothing to do with it. If we can accept that a lot of white people are screwups and make absolute wrecks out of their lives, then why is it not okay to admit that the same is true for some black people? “No, it’s racism.”1 point -

Congrats to Orangefield (#16 in 3A) Lumberton (#19 in 4A) and Huffman Hargrave (#22 in 4A) for finishing the year in the top 25 in their divisions for the Lone Star Cup! The Cup represents overall athletic excellence across the board (like the NCAA’s Director’s Cup). Well done to the athletes at these schools. [Hidden Content]1 point -

That is good to hear about the returning starter, presumed backup, now starter again. I don't even know the young mans name but he "could have" got an attitude about being swept aside for a soph move in, then now being asked to be plan B after the move in and dad bailed on Ned. He must be a class act, I wish him the best.1 point -

One of the top tier games in the state week 1! Both programs seem to be excited for this coming season. Both ranked in the top 10 in their class. I'll go with PNG in this one. I think the extra couple of weeks practicing and championship experience will help PNG start the season off right. Plus they are playing at home. How many does each team return?1 point
