Bob West passed away this morning from cancer. One of the top sportswriters in the state and country. Condolences to his family and friends.

That again, is reaching for an answer. Who watched that video for the first time and immediately said, oh my gosh, that is a courthouse where a person was lynched 100 years ago. Likely no one Who would recognize it? Probably a better question would be, who did the research to find something in the video to be offended by? Why would anyone try to google something in the background in a song? Was this courthouse some well known symbol of racism? If so, why was Hannah Montana mostly filmed not only in that city, Columbia, TN, but at least one scene shot at the very same courthouse? Maybe Mikey Cyrus was pushing a hidden agenda on racism in front of that apparently well known symbol of hate…. that no one would recognize unless they were told to do so. If a person are looking for that nail, he will find it. Not that I would expect most people to view this 34 minute clip from Candace Owens. If a person is so inclined, scroll to the 8 minute mark and see Hannah Montana coming out of the same courthouse. Then go to around the 15 minute mark and look at some of the lyrics of current top 40 music.

Maybe you didn't read about the WOS concessions in the other topic. BTW Mustang fans. Not one dollar you spend at the concession stands goes to any student activity or project graduation. This money goes to the food service department. That's right all the profits from $5 bottled water goes back to cafeteria. Have you seen the kind of food we waste after the lunch periods are over? Just my advice... find the kid with the yeti cooler on the radio flyer wagon. He's cheaper. And the Project Graduation folks have been banished off school property. So look for someone to be cooking across the street. Probably in Eric's front yard. This is the only way to truly support the kids when buying food at the game. The more I get into things. The more I want to really get into it. Administration is a joke. But we made a change a the poll last spring. And we'll do the same thing next time if need be. WOS 112% 🧢

Just Rudy admitting that the statements were false and defamatory to end discovery, but not giving up the right to defend himself in lessening damages. Then signing it himself and filing it with the court. All you have to do to win a defamation case is prove that the statements you made were true. Rudy punted.

Did you even read the article? It references specific transactions. Of course, we all know you could have been watching him make the transactions and it still wouldn’t change your mind.

Not for sure what years ago you are referring to, I played in the 70's, and we had full pad 2 a days, for 2 weeks before school started. And guess what , we had some 100 degree days here in Central Texas. Coaches didnt believe in water breaks either back then. lol

Sunrise practices and or sunset practices. Anything after 10 am or before 5pm is a crap shoot

I bet the new coach has his hands cuffed by the superintendent. You think CT did that? No... probably similar situation crouch faced with previous LCM supt.... I have heard several times. They (higher admin) wanted change which included a new type of defense or whatever changes necessary to make CTs footprint a past thought. If I'm guessing they'll never run the legendary 50 defense again.

Coaches quit being a jerk to officials ESPECIALLY in sub varsity games you are lucky to have officials. School Administrators start kicking jerk parents and fans out of games. Second time they offend ban them from schools. That silliness will stop overnight. UIL bump Minimum pay for sub varsity games to $100 / game. PLUS mileage. Bump MINIMUM pay for Varsity games to $200 PLUS mileage. And do NOT for one second tell me schools cannot afford this. I was a coach and teacher for thirty years. Every school I ever worked at threw away more money in a week than officials cost. Schools if you want to ensure your kids have officials make Officials WANT to come to your school by paying them in cash THAT night. If your Admin says "we can't do that" (and they can btw its just a little extra work for them god forbid people in Admin have to do that) get booster club to pay them that night. AND Feed them......WELL not a Concession Stand Hotdog either! If your Admin is too inept to pay them in cash AD;s do what it takes to make sure these guys are not waiting for their check for two and three months. And yes this is standard operating procedure for most schools. I've even seen AD'S put officials checks in their desks for weeks to "pay back" officials that they feel did not do a good job. Trust me, officials talk to each other about schools that do a good job of taking care of them and which schools make it REALLY hard to go there. Guess which schools usually have officials and which do not. When you have a shortage of workers it is because of two things. Pay is not high enough and / or the work conditions stink. Eco 101. It is amazing that schools just throw up their hands at the drop of the hat and say "there is nothing we can do" that is BS. Example: 6 Man schools have the hardest time getting officials. Many are having to play sub varsity and Varsity on the same night to address this. I know a place that has Officials FIGHTING to go call games there. Strawn, Texas. They pay in cash AND the HC feeds the Officials no matter what the sport after the games. At Mary's. He has an open tab there for officials. Take a hint. Schools and the UIL better pull their head out of their fourth point of contact. If the current trend holds you will be having coaches call sub varsity games. And your Varsity Schedules will be getting rearragned around when the officials can show up. To sum up show these folks some respect.
