If you’re just now making names up for it then it’s not really a rivalry. Crosby’s rival is, always has been and always will be Dayton. BH is to the Crosby/Dayton rivalry what Vidor is to the Ned/PNG rivalry.3 points -

Nobody is complaining about Kerry’s jet, it’s that he flies around in one while telling everyone else to ride a bike, keep up. Oh yeah, 24 / 72 points -
That is called getting caught with the smoking gun. For those that might not want to watch the video let me paraphrase…. John Kerry: All these false claims that I fly in a private jet and the claimed hypocrisy by me. I have never owned a private jet!! Follow up question: Who owned it? Kerry: I have never owned a private jet!!… Well, but my wife has and yes I flew in it. But it wasn’t in my name!! Hahaha…. 🤣2 points

I would not be that confident in him.....if you were convicted of murder, would you want this guy on your side? From 2010 to 2015, Smith served under Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder, leading the DOJ’s Public Integrity Section. The Obama Administration set in motion Democrats’ Coup against Trump from Day One of his presidency. (Excerpt from Lee Smith’s book, October 2019, “The Plot Against the President: The True Story of How Congressman Devin Nunes Uncovered the Biggest Political Scandal in U.S. History”). Among his more notable corruption cases, Smith prosecuted the former governor of Virginia, Robert McDonnell, a Republican. Although Smith scored a conviction against McDonnell, the case was later overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court in a unanimous 8-0 decision. The Court observed that “there is no doubt that this case is distasteful; it may be worse than that. But our concern is not with tawdry tales of Ferraris, Rolexes, and ball gowns. It is instead with the broader legal implications of the Government’s boundless interpretation of the federal bribery statute.” (Politico, 6/27/16). The High Court also rebuked Smith and warned that “the uncontrolled power of criminal prosecutors is a threat to our separation of powers.” Smith prosecuted and convicted former Democrat vice presidential nominee John Edwards. “By not losing on any of the six felony counts for which he was being tried, John Edwards won the biggest victory of his political and legal life . . . A mistrial on five counts and an acquittal on one resulted in a clear -- if not complete -- legal vindication and a likely fatal setback for federal prosecutors seeking to convict the former U.S. senator and 2004 Democratic vice presidential nominee for allegedly violating the Federal Election Campaign Act.” (U.S. News, June 1, 2012). Smith prosecuted Democrat Bob Menendez on public corruption charges. The case ended in a mistrial. “The way this case started was wrong, the way it was investigated was wrong, the way it was prosecuted was wrong, and the way it was tried was wrong as well,” Menendez said outside the courtroom at the time.” (Washington Examiner, 6/5/23). Smith prosecuted Arizona congressman Rick Renzi on corruption charges, which the Supreme Court upheld. Renzi was later pardoned by former President Trump. Renzi declared that he had been “wrongly convicted by a Department of Justice that engaged in witness tampering, illegal wiretapping, and gross prosecutorial misconduct.” (Washington Examiner, 6/5/23).2 points -

Mods, how do we get enhancements to the board? In about a month or so we’re going to need to be able to post gifs of rice farmers, refinery operators and dead eagles. You know, things that capture the culture of Barbers Hill.2 points -

What am I selling? The reason I said Willis might not be the right for for Crosby is because we’re NOT like places like BH. We have more people that work in the “service” side of the O&G, more diversity and more diverse opinions on how to go about things. If we can keep superintendents from robbing the kids then we’ve still done pretty well as a district historically though. The current supt. may not be the biggest proponent of the sports programs but she’s doing an awesome job for the district in general. The reason BH is relatively competitive across the board is two reasons. One, the district is heavily subsidized by the refineries in town and two, the sports like baseball and softball that you’re eluding to have lot more to do with disposable income than they do anything else. There are more black girls on Oklahoma’s roster than you might see the whole weekend at a travel ball tournament during the Summer. It’s to a slightly lesser extent in travel baseball but only because those coaches are more willing to come up with “payment arrangements” when you can get you hands on prospects from inner-city Houston like Carl Crawford and Michael Bourne. BH isn’t really “great” at any sports besides girls softball, y’all just dump a lot of money into the programs so your floor is generally higher than others across the board. Which is commendable for the kids’ sake.2 points -

Guess you didn’t listen to the rating agency’s reasons. One of the main ones is national division and cracks seen in our belief in our institutions. Things Donald Trump is accused of. Financial markets hate instability, and for the first time in a long time economic indicators play a secondary role. @Cardinalbacker @biggirl1 point

The sad thing is that the people who need that education the most are ones least capable of grasping the concepts. I used to always say that a human life wasn’t worth as much in the Middle East or Africa… but now there are a lot of communities in the USA where a human life is worth no more than a parking spot, quarter ounce of weed, or some other perceived slight or insult.1 point -

Did you read any of the Mueller Report? Either of the two Federal indictments? You’ve drunk so much Trump kool-aid, you got to be orange.1 point
-
Look, dude, the Mueller Report cited ten possible violations of law but would not pursue because of his status as sitting President. He was not exonerated. He used the DOJ through AG Barr to misrepresent and obfuscate the situation because his mental illness will not allow him to consider the possibility that he has ever done wrong in his life.1 point

Outside of the bank records, the suspicious activity reports, the wire transfers, the Privat bank transactions, the LLCs, the texts, the emails, the WhatsApp messages, the photos of Joe with Hunter’s business partners, the voicemails to his son, the two business partners saying Joe is the “brand,” the “big guy,” and “the chairman,” the two whistleblowers testimony, the recorded phone calls between Biden and Poroshenko, the video of Joe Biden bragging about firing the Ukrainian prosecutor, and Hunter’s statements that he’s giving his dad half his income, there is NO evidence of Joe Biden being involved.
