I watched highlights of him tonight, to step in when he did to lead his team to a tough hard fought victory. Kudos to the young man! As the game went on he was getting better, and he’s got a great running back to lean on. Keep him as QB1 and let Shea go back to WR! PNG will be just fine for for the foreseeable future!3 points -

It was great to see Sterling fill the visitor side of the stadium and players/fans have some enthusiasm. I was hoping for a more competitive game. It would be great to see them make a playoff run and start winning for the first time in many years. Last playoff win may have been more than 30 years but I’m not certain. In all fairness, it seems this age group of boys for BH have been really good at every level since 7th grade. They have lots of varsity and playoff experience. They have a chance to do something special this season. BH has a defense to go with some all around pretty good speed at most skilled positions. LBs may be the best in the district and QB play is what they expected this season. They appear to be very deep at every receiver position. They just plug and play. If BH wanted, he’d thrown for 400 plus yards the last two games. All this production has been playing only in 1st half of last two games. Not to get too far ahead, (Crosby could sneak up on them) but in reality LaPorte will give them a good test to see where they, are and PAM will be waiting, hopefully, for them it will be for the district title. After seeing them play, I truly believe they are highly underrated in the state.2 points -

My brother in Christ... Vince Lombardi couldn't win games with West Brook right now. There's so many things wrong there and in the city. Easy to blame coaching, but nobody wants to acknowledge the truth about how terrible the culture of the school and city is. The kids run the school. Discipline is a joke at West Brook. Also, don't just say there's "talent" there, when really, there isn't much. Every year young families move out of Beaumont more and more. The city has to give these kids a reason to love football. It is a basketball city now. If the kids who play basketball all played football too, it would be a different story. But look at the facilities and the fields Beaumont football kids practice on every day. Some of the worst in the entire state. We got 2A and 3A schools with better and nicer stuff than the 2 biggest schools in SETX. That's what is sad and pathetic.2 points

So I guess the secret is getting out of the bag, Bailey has been talked about for a couple of years. Many at PNG figured he would take over this season sometime. The kid literally has a rifle for an arm, but what you haven't seen yet is his running speed. He is faster than Shea with the ball in his hands. He needs a few more games to slow the game down for him. You will probably see in the near future that he will be the next good PNG QB. He has one of the fastest releases of the football I have seen at the Reservation in quite sometime. His balls are darts. The coaches have been bringing him along and he has played some in each game this year to try and get him ready. The kid is a baller. In the scrimmage against LCM he was being chased to the sideline. Right before he stepped out he fired a laser 25+ yards down the sideline and hit the PNG receiver as he tiptoed the sideline. It was literally a laser beam of a throw running to his right. Shea we are praying to get you back soon. Non-contact injuries are scary. WOS you played as expected and never gave up. Literally this could have been anyone's game., and just like last year in the deep playoff run when things looked bleak Nyguen would come out of nowhere and save the day. Cant put a finger on it but the kid has something in him and somehow he makes the plays' when it just almost seems impossible. Great game, great atmosphere, I like to see games where you have to earn the win. WOS you have given PNG plenty to take away from the game and I hope we have done the same for you. Thanks again for being the usual smart, understanding team you always are. You have the best fans in SETX and understand footbal, and winning and losing better than anyone else. I tip my hat to you.2 points -

Not me. I actually picked WOS. PNG really don’t have much of a defense as shown tonight. Against PAM, first game jitters maybe. Then they played BU, they could have put the second team defense in. Now you got 3 games under your belt and still struggled against a team that basically had no breaks and played the whole game. I don’t like morale victories, but png should have scored atleast 35 points. Not because they are better, but because WOS was tired2 points

That and our athletes. The coaching may be poor but all them boys keep us in it. If this group of players was a CT coached team your looking at a 28-3 maybe 21-7 win easily2 points -
Agree with Frodo NDN, #9 at QB1 and #19 at WR/Wildcat. #9 just needs some reps. He can sling it around the yard. Impressed with WO-S QB #17 and the stable of RBs. Nice mixture of strong runners and elusive playmakers. Also impressed with the WO-S Punter. That kid is nails...he can hit them long with a nice roll and he can hit the short chip shot inside the 5 yard line. Nice call on the fake punt by WO-S. Glad PN-G had the depth and fresh legs of #33 to escape with the win. Here's to a good two weeks to heal up and work on the passing game. Enjoyed watching the Indians fight back. It's easy to fold, but the Indians kept playing. Same for the WO-S kids. It amazes me every year. WOS keeps shrinking in numbers, but those kids wearing blue and silver fight their ass off for 48 minutes. Go Indians.2 points

0-10 is a real possibility this year. But hey, at least we have a gray coach according to the people on this site. Dude is awful, he’s exactly what I said he would be. We run an offense that doesn’t fit our players, players are playing out of position and the play-calling is pop Warner level. I was told by a coach that Crosby was getting lucky winning all those games. We were unorganized on defense and played bad technique. We only stopped people because we blitzed a lot. Said we didn’t have the talent to be winning this games we did. If that’s the type of staff we had were destined to become bottom feeders. “Give him time”, huh? Dude is screwing over one of the more talented teams Crosby has put on the field in recent years. Kids probably checked out after tonight. Y’all were in me in the Summer when I told y’all this dude wasn’t the one for Crosby, unfortunately I was spot on.2 points -

Man only if WOS had some depth… those kids played both ways the whole game minus 3 players. Prayers to Adams and hope it’s not serious. I don’t mean to take away from PNG win, but they are in trouble. Not sure how long shea is out, but the soph gonna have to pick it up quick! WOS was gassed and couldn’t keep up with png depth. And for gods sake, get a kicker WOS!!!! Hopefully 17 is ok cause it seems that’s all WOS really have. Kinda sucks both starting QB’s got injured.2 points

I’m somewhat biased, but let’s give Silsbee a little credit. The D is balling and we are loaded at receiver. 3 TD catches by players not named Miller and Cartwright has yet to touch the ball. The opponent may not be a playoff caliber team, but we have done what we’re supposed to do.2 points

Take away Turner and WOS wins 3 games. Such a poor offensive scheme, and poorly coached team. Every extra point chart and coaching philosophy in the world tells you to kick the extra point up 3. You NEVER go for 2 in that situation. They still have the jimmy’s and Joe’s though. Sad for such a proud and great program to settle for that.1 point
