I agree with the first part of your post. You're exactly right it IS on the job training. The problem is that they had so little experience that the learning curve could be forever. I mean, we're still not doing the "101" type of things like containing the edge. Things coaching under an established leader with experience is gained in the short term, not "when they finally figure it out". I think it's sad this program is being destroyed by people with no leadership experience and our program being their "on the job training". The second, I don't agree were not playing Belville because I don't think we beat any of the top three in our district (hope I'm wrong). Our greatest asset at this point is Turner but it looks like we're gonna run him til his tongue drags. He's not gonna make it to those games. Funny, I watched the Texas Longhorns last night shut down the Alabama run game out of the 50 defense... jumping into the 4 man front on obvious passing downs... what a novel thought...🤔 CT was always about stopping the run and controlling the pass. I'm sorry, but you'll never convince me that our players, running a CT trained coach out of the 50, PNG might have scored once. They certainly wouldn't have been able to make a living at it.

Can we finally have a conversation about how some of the WOS coaches have destroyed the "mystique# of WOS. They seem to have no respect for the history of WOS. Fans like myself will have to remember the good old days. The present socks and the future may not be any better. Feel sorry for the program and kids. Imo

If coach Thompson wanted to give me advice on how to tie my shoes, I’d take it. That any program, much less the one he brought to state four years in a row, would tell him no is crazy.

Yes! Everyone is looking at how Crosby could lose this one, but Lee showed some character in this one. They never gave up and the coaches went for it with 2 consecutive 2 Point conversions!!!!! Lee wasn’t going to be denied and this could set them up for that elusive playoff spot. It’s a long shot, but they still in it. Congrats Ganders

I actually did well this week. Played a ton of over/under and really payed off. Also took Colorado, Oregon, tu and Miami. +$480

Look what Texas can do with a healthy QB. Bama hurt Ewers and McCoy in very winnable games for Texas. We’ve had some down years while attempting to replace Mack Brown. Recruiting is about to get even better for Texas and we seem to have found a coach. A lowly Big XII team (other’s assessment, not mine) taking on the SEC juggernaut in their house and soundly whipping their behinds on prime time tv makes a huge statement. Texas lost 90% of their offense and reloaded. That’s a huge statement for the coaching staff. I was very impressed with our defense. I really don’t have to accentuate the positives to anyone who watched this game. Can’t let it go to our heads. Oh yeah, Bama led for 2 minutes!
