Why does Crosby feel that they are dependent on transfers to be successful? That is all we read during the summer is all of the transfers and where they are coming from. All schools get them , but Crosby is obsessed.

A couple starters out on defense. I suspect a few new faces in a few places. Offensively, those that missed scrimmages and 1st few games working on getting in game shape before district play.

Coaches work their butts off. Sometimes down cycles have more to do with dna than anything else. As has been said before you can’t win the Kentucky derby with a mule. Schools cycle through up and down years.

Ouch!!! Currently eating crow right now🤪 Just now seeing the scores. I watched the BC/LCM game. Even though LCM lost, they came to play. (25-22, 23-25, 25-23,27-25). Heard Vidor beat LCM in the YMBL tourney so Vidor and BC should be a good game to watch when they play.

Great game by WOS but you fans living in the past have gotten beyond delusional. How many coaches come in and have the old staff hanging around and telling them how to coach? Also schemes change with new coaches. Players adapt. All the, oh if we were running the 50 front and Coach was here to help we would have beat PN-G by 20+ is getting old. I believe Silsbee will win State this season. Call me stupid or whatever you like. IIf not for a bs call on a qb throwing off of his knee last year they would have played for state and rightfully so. I know you cant say it but I will. I went to that game and was livid afterwards. The ref was right there watching it. I am still pissed about it. My grandfather passed in 2016 and Silsbee was his Alma-mater.. He would have been so excited for them. Anyways I digress. Silsbee for it all this year. This Indian is rooting for you all the way.

Many other people on this site have stated that some of the new coaches want no help or advice from the old established coaches. They have an goal to prove that their untested way of coaching is better or at least as good as a proven winning formula.

And it's work 35 straight times... all I used to hear about was how Franklin would never win state just running the ball. 3 straight trips to Dallas 4 in the last 8 years with 2 state titles and only 8 yes 8 passing yards in the last 2 championship games. If it's not broke don't fix it. We may lose this game to a team a class up who imo should still be in the top 10. But its only gonna make us better in the long run. These seniors have played some really good ball clubs over the years from Canadian, Gunter, Lorena, Brock, Columbus ect. They will not back down from a challenge or lay down for anyone. I expect this to be another great game at Hedrick field.

Agreed! BH has to maintain their composure! in the game last week they didn’t fare well in that department allowing Sterling to get in their heads. BH committed a slew of penalties due to this. Crosby will be baiting them all night and they just need to play with composure. I think on paper BH should run away with this, but I feel its going to be more along the lines of a 35-14 victory for BH. Also yes we do have one of starting LB’s out that gave Crosby fits last year, but his backfill is playing well. Hoping to get out dynamic Punt Returner/ utility player back he was also out last week. What Crosby will see this week is a much improved running game from the Eagles which has made this team much more dynamic. Going to be a good one folks !

Also, if you read the Beaumont Enterprise article, it mentioned that WO-S gained 525 yards. That's inaccurate. The Mustangs had a few long gains but at the end of the night they totaled 370 yards on 10 drives. And zero yards on that last OT possession. From the PNG site....

I'm fairly certain those stats are wrong. WOS didn't gain over 500 yards. I know someone corrected it elsewhere. It was in the 300's

The poster that made that comment several years ago was a teenage classmate of the young man. He was definitely too exuberant with that post. He is older and more mature and has moved on. Obviously, you haven't.

I have a college degree. My wife has two. We don’t have school loans because (you’re not going to believe how this works) we paid them off. Early. There’s a certain irony in you making a post where you admit to being too ignorant to know how your loan works out of one side of your mouth while insinuating everyone else is dumber than you from the other side because you have degrees. Some of these guys may not have degrees, but none of them paid $50k on a $27k loan without coming close to satisfying the debt, either.
