Ned beats Png 🤫😁

They run a lot. I’m not sure if that’s by design or if their passing game is just bad, but their passing game is also not anything to write home about. They moved the ball against Nederland (only game I watched them live) for a while, but they don’t have much firepower, and that was in a game I didn’t think Nederland played well. There was very little at all impressive about Santa Fe in that game. Their uniforms look good - That’s one positive. Almost no speed, small, passive. I honestly don’t see a path to them scoring against our starters. If Nederland had played on defense the way they played against FBM for three quarters, Santa Fe wouldn’t have scored at all. I’m ok with vanilla play calling in this game. Something I like about this coaching staff is they use their opportunities to hammer fundamentals. We could have scored 60 on Beaumont United, but what does the team learn from that? If you’re lighting up the scoreboard, you’re probably not doing plays that challenge your weaknesses. If I had my way, PNG would use the game to get the Qb and the receivers more passing reps, because that’s where we have less experience.

Their constituents call their offices and voice an opinion. People that work for the representative start talking to them about possible primary opponents. Other politicians talk to them and deals are made as sadly most political situations require. No threats. You, a highly knowledgeable individual should know this. Honestly, I like ugly politics. You learn much about many of the representatives in a party. 2016 will live on in slowly changing the R party where the representatives will be forced to live up to the word representative and not lock step vote with the liberal university graduates hiding behind an R. Let it be nasty! The days of Mitt, the Bush family, Liz, and dare I say our own state rep, Drunk Dade, are coming to an end. It will get worse in the next few years, but it is changing. Things are still positive. Reps are showing their true intentions and primary challengers are ready. Let Jim Jordan have his fight. He's up for it. You really think that is why he would "put on a show" for this particular game? Really think you are way off base on this one.

PNG will probably be a 40-point favorite, so the order of the day is don’t go in complacent and looking forward to MCM. The last thing we need is to mess around and give Santa Fe the game. And, don’t let what will likely be a cupcake team make us soft coming up on Nederland. This week needs to be a tune-up. Hopefully Bailey and the WRs can continue to gel, and we can escape with no injuries.

😁 I actually take that as a compliment i was raised old school on a small farm with daily farm chores. Dad was a brick mason and on weekend side jobs I was tagging along at 8 years old being his labor. when it came to sports I was raised and taught Defense leads to offense….. let just say I’m gritty. oh and to be exact I’m 43 today.

Just based on the numbers, this game should be a bench-clearing shutout for PNG. I expect the game to be similar to the Willow Ridge game, however, for the observers, with pretty much plain vanilla play calling. Don't ever take any high school game for granted, but it would be handy if SF runs similar defense and offense as Nederland for us.

I think WOS band was fantastic and deserved a #1 but that's just me🙂

The character of that young man and his family is top notch. He may make plays that stand out but it is not about showing out, it is about the desire to give 100% and his God given talent just stands out.

Cueros problem is the strength of schedule.....Silsbees district is a gauntlet once you get thru it you are prepared for playoffs. I dont think Cuero has much competition in their district like Silsbee does.....JMO

all good players but I think it comes down to who you saw play and when you say them. In the 80s, HJ had Rocky Roquemore. Could shoot and jump out of the gym. I was already out of the area for the 2000s HJ teams and just know what i was able to read about them.

GCM has Crosby, Sterling and Lee left. Tonight's game against Crosby is big for GCM. PNG needs GCM to go 1-2. PNG has PAM, BH and Sterling left. PNG has to go 2-1 and might need to go 3-0 to get in.

Again, this is the current staff at WB's third season. Just three seasons ago WB competed every year and made the playoffs! Senior night and i think it's pink out too. This is going to depend on which team we get on the field Friday night. Is it the one that scores 50 vs Newton. Or the one that can't buy a point in the first half vs BC. Is it the defensive wonder that held both HF's and Silsbee's high power offenses to their lowest point totals of the season? The ups and downs, highs and lows, are so drastic now that there's no expectations anything will flow from one week to the next. They can't find any solid ground to build on each week. At this point we are exactly in the same position as last season. No progress. Still lost to all the same opponents even though we were home for a few of them. Even though we went to OT with some too. There is no more home field advantage. So now when Jasper steps off the bus Friday we've got our hands full. Hope we get another instant classic that comes down to the final minutes.
