  1. And Nederland has beat teams from bigger schools plenty in the past, including PNG. . What was the excuse all those years Neumann sent them home packing? They had a bigger enrollment then. I wouldn't count on school size dictating the size of the fight in the Dog. 😈

  2. I did not insult him. I love him as a coach but he has to have the kids to win. Some people on this site think that an elite coach can win anywhere. That is just not true. png won state because they had the players and had an exceptional good coach.

  3. Still not as big as the ones in Nam. Sounded like copters and would argue with each other. Should we eat him here or take him out in the jungle? Heck no, we take him out there the big ones will get him.

  5. Understood, FBM "donkey stomped" Nederland this year by "2 points". Would hate for Nederland to continue getting beat like that with no hope for the win.

  10. Its not the offense, but the kids you have running it. As enrollment drops so does performance( in most cases, there are a few exceptions). PNG has 219 more kids in high school then Nederland.. you cannot put Joseph at Nederland and win district must less win state. Nederland will be better because they have a lot of returning starters but they will struggle to make the playoffs. By the end of the year the Nederland coach bashing club will be howling again. Nederland coach was told last year by adm. that his job was secure if he made the playoffs. They lied get ready for another donkey stomping by PNG next year. Also Ft Bend Marshall, lake creek,etc..

  11. Jacob Ellis earns D1Baseball's pitcher of the week for the nation. Ellis threw 9 innings of no hit ball on Saturday against McNeese. He is 5-0 on the season and allowing opponents a .183 average.

  12. [Hidden Content] Lot of these useful idiots in the US that stand behind the moral equivalency of Palestine and Israel. From the article: "It's very disappointing to see Americans supporting Hamas and thinking that Hamas is a cool thing, while Hamas does not respect any of those followers, while those followers don't know that Hamas would torture them and massacre them with no mercy. They call them useful idiots. They don't know that Hamas is a dark black hole," Yousef said on an April 2 episode of "Dr. Phil Primetime." "[Pro-Palestinians are] absolutely idiots because they don't know what they are supporting. They are supporting a monster that has been hijacking an entire society and endangering the entire Middle East, pushing the world towards a global war. … What's happening is insanity. Those pro-Palestine people need to go to a mental asylum."

  13. Just went back and watched the Lumberton game, and they got absolutely screwed. Less than a minute and a half left, BLATANT dive inside the box with zero contact, and the ref is 6 ft away and he gives a penalty. Should’ve been a card for simulation. Navasota tied it on the PK and won the shootout later

  14. Navasota wins the shootout, and advances to state. Great season for the raiders!

  15. I consider Goose Creek Memorial local as well since they’re in Nederland/PNGs district. My good friend coaches them. They just scored in the last 5 minutes to send their game to OT against Magnolia West.

  16. I've been wanting to respond to this.. I get to see most of these players up close more than most people. Boulwen is pretty closed to 6'4". Walker is probably in the 6'1" tp 6'2" range. Johnson may actually be bigger than 6'2" He has grown an incredible amount since football season. I would not be at all surprised if he was 6'4" or more by next year. On top of that he just finished third in the district 200 and ran legs on the 4x100 and 4x200 that placed third. I feel he probably will be able to take Miller's place on the court and may well be the best athlete on the floor. I would love to think that Troy might grow another inch or two before next year.
