    Man the pitching staff did another fantastic job tonight my question - what has happened to the run production and hitting the last 4 conference games. I know they got 10 hits the 1st game vs McNeese but only 2 runs, but the past 3 conference games have not produced many hits or runs. Thank goodness the pitchers are doing very well. Hopefully they will get the bats going tomorrow

    Well the top of 9th was a little hairy but Lamar hangs on to win 2-1 over SLU. Our pitchers have really had to earn their wins.

    And Nederland has beat teams from bigger schools plenty in the past, including PNG. . What was the excuse all those years Neumann sent them home packing? They had a bigger enrollment then. I wouldn't count on school size dictating the size of the fight in the Dog. 😈

    InWell he was vetted by some football savvy guys. If they didn’t think he’s got what it takes he wouldn’t be there. Nothing in sports is certain but so far so good in my opinion.
