  2. I heard Ben Carson being interviewed the other day and I thought Ben would be an interesting choice. If I'm not mistaken, polls have Trump pulling the largest percent of black voters than any other Republican President...... His only issue is he is 73 I would LOVE to watch a debate with him and Kamala LOL

  3. 1. Trump has been the president before, and you're saying he has a chance of winning again due to Biden's poor performance. And you're agreeing that he's a turd sandwich (fair). Wouldn't it stand to reason then that Trump must not have had a poor performance during his presidency (since that's the only reason you're saying Biden would lose) which refutes your claim that the only reason Trump stands a chance is due to Biden's poor performance? You would have been better served to say that the only reason DJT may lose the presidency is because his personality is unappealing to many (turd sandwich). I'll take effective over feelings 8 days out of 7. 2. In my opinion, the major reason Biden has any shot at winning is TDS, a country that is slowly but surely being indoctrinated to socialistic thinking and a left-wing media bias that won't report what's truly happening. Definitely not going to win on the real issues. The real issues that are going to sink Biden: a. Wokeness and his unwillingness to stand up to it. He promised centrality, but instead took a hard left into oncoming traffic. b. Economy - go to the grocery store, and you'll see what I mean. c. Immigration - It's a dangerous free for all that is a huge national security risk, a personal safety risk, a health risk & an economic crisis for any city that has to take care of these illegal migrants. All to gain the Democrats millions of votes and control of the government basically forever. d. Energy - I could speak volumes, but you know what I mean. e. Crime and anti-LE sentiment - Turn on the news. f. Handling of COVID-19 - Biden did everything in his power to shut this country down short of martial law Get past the turd sandwich and do what's right for you, your family & the country as a whole.

    Nederland Spring Game?

I liked how Coach Rich framed it in his short interview with one of the news outlets - Getting fundamental football basics down. Not trying to razzle dazzle anyone. Starting where he needs to and moving from there. Nederland is in good hands.

  5. But not on the republican voters to provide an electable option in the primary. It's always the centrists and lefties who are the dumb ones. Tell you what, I'm going to open up a fine dining restaurant in Caney Head. Really good, really expensive food. And when it fails, I'm going to blame the locals for being unsophisticated. After all, this is really good food. Then I'm going to wait a couple of years, reopen in the same place as the same restaurant, serving the same expensive food, and blame the locals when it fails again. Then when someone with a shred of common sense suggests I start serving hamburgers and chicken fried steak, I'm going to refuse to serve food that would be successful in that area, instead standing firm with my menu and spending my time complaining about how stupid and poor the locals are after my restaurant fails for a second time. As an aside: Trump can be a turd sandwich and also have been a good president (i'd say pretty decent, but close enough). But when the turd sandwich part outweighs the good or decent president part for a majority of the country it becomes a major issue. It cost him the election 4 years ago, and it's a bigger problem today. The only reason he even has a shot is because Biden may be the worst president in history. But hey, let's not change anything, remain unappealing to over half of the country, and blame everyone else if we don't win!

  6. back to the old "the voters are stupid if they don't decide our turd sandwich is better than their turd sandwich" argument. first and foremost it's the party's responsibility to put out electable candidates (both failed). Then the party line voters are responsible for picking an electable option in the primaries for the general election (both failed again). And finally, once you get to the general election, it's the entire country's responsibility to pick the best option for the job. 85-90% of the country's vote is decided before a candidate is ever named (and everyone commenting in this thread falls in this category). And to be completely honest, the left has done a better job of pandering to those 10-15% who actually decide the presidency, they're just screwed here because they have the sitting president and he wants to run again. Lucky for them the right are throwing the same guy at him that lost the last time, and nobody likes him any more than they did 4 years ago. If we'd picked literally ANYBODY besides Trump in the primary it would be a cakewalk. As it is, it'll be a tight race likely coming down to tenths of percentages in a handful of states to decide things. But hey, instead of doing what's necessary to win elections, let's just insist on doing the same thing that didn't work before, demanding the other side completely adjust their politics without any concessions, and then blame them for being stupid when they don't agree to our terms and just vote in their own not very good candidate.

  8. Omar didn’t want the WB job. I doubt he would want this one. He just got a new contact at Lamar too supposedly. SETX is losing another ELITE coach who is an incredible human being as well. Wish Coach Davis and his family all the best.

  9. You are close to me… season tickets been in the family name since the 70s…

  10. Not always. Like one is for my wife and she doesn’t always go. My friend is in the same situation but this year her grandson is playing so he may or may not have an extra each week. I had season tickets for maybe 20 years… but they were in another person’s name. When one of his sons got married, all of a sudden the in-laws wanted “my seats”. Poof…. they were gone! When Nederland removed the band from the stands to open up more tickets, I grab some online in that new overflow area just to make sure I could get in the game. One year later (last year) after I had renewed my seats, I went to the trade-in day. My friend and I who had seats together and sat together in the new expanded section last year, were in the 2nd and 3rd spots in line for trade ins. We got lucky with the 50 (literally) yard line seats with him having four seats on one row and me having three matching seats on the next row. We just wanted to improve our seats a little each year instead of those end sections. We got very lucky with prime seats in one year. Talk about cutting a big hog in the butt with a little knife……

  11. Israel is THE only nation that consistantly votes with the USA at the UN. Israel is more faithful to us than Canada is and they are our direct neighbor. Israel is a haven in the mid east for almost anything American. Benjamin Netanyahu lived in Philadelpha PA. No country can match this. Not even close.

  12. HJ is a well known basketball school, I imagine there will be applicants from around the state.

  13. Those would both be great hires. HJ should come away with a good hire no matter who they get.

  15. Ben Carson is one of the most moral, upstanding, Godly men on the planet. I would love to see Carson as President. In the political arena though, Carson's gentleness is not necessarily the best thing. Carson would easily beat Kamala in a debate, (heck any local 8 year old easily could) but could you imagine a Kamala facing a firey Tulsi Gabbard? OMG Tulsi would blow Kamala away with Cat 5 hurricane force.

  21. Razor that comment was made because when they look improved, Bulldog fans usually start posting within 5 minutes after the scrimmage or game. I made that is jest due to no responses in hours after the scrimmage Certainly glad to see they are getting better coaching and look better

    2024 WOS Mustangs

I'm glad they are making changes on defense. Strong defense is the Mustang identity, it may be boring to some folks, but that's how WO-S has won a lot of games for so many years. Of all the disappointments the past couple of years, seeing the Mustangs give up so many points every game was the biggest disappointment for me.
