The fact that Trump has been re-nominated PROVES that you all supported Trump's attempt to overthrow the government, Period. You just don't like people calling you out on your bull. Personally? I think the whole "second attempt" is just an overblown attempt to re-create some of the drama from a couple of months ago when that young Republican took a shot at Trump. And I don't remember an big outpouring of concern here on the boards in 2011 when that young radical took shots at the Obama White House. How big of a moron does one have to be to believe that 1. Democrat rhetoric is causing these attempts on Trump's life . 2. Trump's rhetoric on prior to and on the morning of 1/6 had nothing to do with the attack on the capitol. Yeah I know week one Navasota got throttled by Sealy… which Sealy isn’t bad but the way they beat Navasota was pretty rough… like Navasota didn’t belong on the same field… Navasota even in their down years still has athletes and aren’t bad… hell We played them last year and were only up 3-0 at half… now the final was 31-3 but they basically gave Bellville their closest game till the state semi finals vs Wimberley… But yeah comparing scores is pretty tricky especially this early in the season

As far as #2 goes, there is going to be a learning curve this is year #1 and three games in. Silsbee is a tough team pretty much every year. These are non-district games so I am not concerned. There were several years during the Nuemann era that the Dogs were 0-3 and still made the playoffs and even made deep runs so we will see what changes/improvements are made over the bye week. 2-1 going into district isn't a bad place to be.

Good season so far. Landed at #22 in the FCS rankings this week.

This Crawford's first year of varsity football and they even have some freshmen playing. They will make a strong playoff run in 2025 or 2026 like all new schools do their first cycle. (Manvel, Shadow Creek, Cypress Woods, Veterans Memorial, Pearland Dawson, etc.)

I don’t know if I would go that far. I also don’t think it’s a deep state conspiracy to off him. To blame it on the dems is no more or less fair than to blame Charlottesville on the GOP. There are a lot of nut jobs in this country and they seem to be multiplying at a high frequency.

If I'm being honest, I don't think @spidersal was being unfair. In other posts, he actually said Nederland is better than they have been for the last 4 years. If you take out your seemingly emotional connection to Nederland, his comments are spot on. To your reasons for Nederland's poor performance: 1. Welcome to contact sports - EVERY team has these problems. Read, react, next man up. Depth makes a team better than average. I hope the injured young man is doing better and gets to play soon though. 2. So what. Learning a new scheme? Really? That's what great coaches can do. So either you're saying the kids aren't good enough after summer practices (and maybe even Spring Training) and some non-district games to pick it up or the coaches aren't good enough to teach them. Which is it? If the freshman class is phenomenal using the same new "schemes", then why isn't the Varsity? Weak argument at best. 3. As you pointed out, the Bulldogs aren't "world beaters" right now.
