  1. "It is a far more dangerous world than Mr. Biden inherited, and far less congenial for U.S. interests, human freedom and democracy... Authoritarians have advanced on his watch in every part of the world -- Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, and even the Americas." All our enemies, Iran, Russia, China, North Korea have LOVED having Biden and Kamala in the White house. These same enemies are trying their best to install Kamala as the US president now. They know Kamala will work tirelessly to weaken and hurt the USA while supporting our enemies at every turn. The only question is, are Americans stupid enough to vote against their own country? Thats exactly what Kamala, Soros, and the rest of our enemies want.

  2. I don't invest in it, nor have I ever suggested anyone else invest in it. Its SPECULATIVE in nature just like many bio-tech stocks, for example. Might go to zero, might shoot to the moon. Moderna, for example, was worth about $10 a share in 2020. Then it went to $450 in late 2021. Now its back down to $64 a share. Is Moderna a 'SCAM"? What if Trump wins? What will the stock be worth then? Answer is, no one knows. Its SPECULATIVE. I don't care what its worth. I do love my country, and I don't want a president elected that hates the USA and wants to destroy it like Kamala does. As for you, you wont undersatand this. Like others you hate Trump more than you love your country. TDS at its finest.

  3. PNG needs to: Run The Football, Then Run The Football, Then Run The Football & For a Change Run The Football at a Different Hole in The Line, Eat Clock, Make 1st Downs & when they put 8 in the box to stop the run, a little quick pass to keep them honest on LC defense. Wear that Defensive Line down & frustrate the LC offense sitting on the sideline. No turnovers & the Indians take this game.

  8. Nobody thinks they are the cool kids on the block. That is a false narrative. You assume they are looking past Lumberton and the rest of the district. Also ā€œbeating up on smaller schoolsā€ is ridiculous considering the recent record of BC. ā€¢ 23-24: 3-7 ā€¢ 22-23: 1-9 ā€¢ 21-22: 4-6 Last year Buna was 1 score and a two point conversion from forcing OT, Orangefield game was 9-6 till 4th qtr. They also ended the year on an ugly note with a loss to Liberty. BC hasnā€™t completely dominated anyone in recent memory. This year they are vastly improved on both sides of the ball. I believe they will compete in every district game and be in the playoff conversation at the end of the season. All this hooplah about who is on the schedule and opting up is just hogwash. Why arenā€™t Liberty and HJ being ridiculed for opting up? Oh I know, because they arenā€™t sitting 3-0 or performing as good as BC is. One thing is for certain. BC isnā€™t a pushover anymore and you donā€™t like that.

  9. Hitchcock reminds me of those Newton teams back around 2015. Remember when Newton and WOS both won state the same year. Newton actually beat WOS that year in Orange I believe. Newton had 3 or 4 D1 kids. Barlow, Brown, Foster etc. Most of Hitchcock basketball team plays football.

Having the most tackles in 4A DII so far this season doesn't necessarily make you the best. There were receivers that had more yards and TD's than Miller last year but he was still labeled the best. BTW, that tackle thing is according to Maxpreps. They are never an accurate source when it comes to those type things. Many teams do not input their stats on Maxpreps.

  14. He was our QB that was not extremely athletic, but found a way to win. His toughness was off the charts. If it was crunch time and you needed to convert a 4th and 3 or the game is over, he was the guy. He would bust through the line with his hair on fire and lower a shoulder and plow right into a defender. He never avoided contact, he left bruises on defenders. The coaches probably told him to limit taking hard hits, but I suspect he looked for DB's to bowl over. I think he ran with a maniacal grin on his face, lol.

  16. If there was no detectable fetal heartbeat (there wasn't), and the mother's life was at risk (it was) then the ER should have done a D&C immediately and there would have been no repercussions. They took nearly 20 hours to do that. That's on them. The law didn't cause it. Amber's poor decisions and the ER's ineptitude killed the young woman. Paint it however you want, those are facts.

  18. I went and watched film on Lufkin that was available to watch, and it appears that they have a shifty, running back, speedy, and athletic wide receivers, and a big physical defensive line. This will be a true test for BH offensive line, and defensive backs. This should get us ready for the playoffs and the caliber of teams we would face 2nd round and beyond.

[Hidden Content] The procedure would also be allowed when a fetus is deemed ā€œmedically futile.ā€ If a physician violates the law, they risk losing their license. They could also face up to a decade in prison. Itā€™s the combination of the vague wording and high personal stakes for the medical providers that create a situation where a patient like Thurman can fall through the cracks, said Greer Donley, an associate professor of law at the University of Pittsburgh who is a national expert on abortion. ā€œTheyā€™re afraid that if they act too quickly, they could lose their freedom, their vocation, everything ā€“ like the stakes are exceptionally high,ā€ Donley said. ā€œAnd so, you have to understand when you think about the vague laws, how you would act, how any rational person would act when those are the stakes of trying to understand vague laws.ā€

  23. BC and their success against a 3A schedule vs. Lumberton and their struggles against a 5A schedule. Kinda tough to judge this one. I think it's safe to say that BC has improved and Lumberton is down from last year. The question is how they match up now that they've both moved the needle back to the center, and it's honestly kinda tough to judge based on the discrepancy in their schedules. I'm leaning towards the cards, but I haven't made my pickems yet.

Iā€™ve wondered the same thing. Iā€™d say itā€™s twofold. First, LC might be seen as unproven. For the last two seasons theyā€™ve run up the score throughout the regular season only to lose in the third round. The voters might simply not trust LC until convinced otherwise. Second, and related to my first point, the loss to Magnolia paired with them only having played a couple of private schools makes LC a question mark. We know they lost handily to a good team, but their big wins over private schools donā€™t tell us much about how good they are.

The LC QB scrambled quite a bit, with more than several times just barely getting away, including once in the end zone that probably was an un-called touchback or maybe grounding. There was also some blown coverage. PNG's LBs will need to be quicker than they've been so far, and hopefully they will be. But what turned out to be the difference was the blocked field goal. I'm curious why LC isn't ranked ahead of some of the other top 10 teams; did they lose a lot of starters from last season?

  39. One's defense of his team by bringing up a game that's totally irrelevant to their game is weak sauce. It's called deflection. I would think any United fan would keep his/her mouth shut when it comes to North Shore after all those beat downs.

  43. Happy to say, my prediction might be off by one game, hopefully, with a win Friday night. This will put the Mustangs at 4-1 going into district. The defense seems to have improved from last year, as far as stopping the run...but the pass defense was exposed Friday against Episcopal. Not sure what goes on in the locker room at halftime, but the second half and finishing games has been a problem for the past 2 years and was no different last Friday night. Hopefully that gets fixed, or it could be another 4th place finish again.

I apologize for going to the game yesterday. They haven't won a game I've attended since June 2019, and I've been to multiple games every year since then, except the covid season in 2020. I promise to not go to any playoff games this year.

I canā€™t find any full-game film on Lake Creek from this season. They return a lot of big names from last year, as does PNG. Like last year, itā€™s going to be two well-coached evenly matched teams. Three things I think weā€™ll need to win: (1) Defensive improvements. The defense has been good, and our performance against La Porte had a lot of bright spots. LP showed our weaknesses, and we got good reps against a violent, tough offensive line blocking for fast RBs who donā€™t go down without sure tackling. LC will be a more balanced offense, and Iā€™d argue more talented than La Porte. We need to get better at outside containment and bringing the runner down at first contact. A single missed tackle is a touchdown for LC. (2) Avoid turnovers. Thatā€™s important for any game, but last year, two of Lake Creekā€™s four touchdowns came off PNG fumbles. (3) PNG must dominate time of possession. This was the most important part of us beating them last year. I went back through every play of last yearā€™s game. Hereā€™s some rough numbers: PNG held the ball 10-ish minutes longer than LC. (28 min vs 18 min). Thatā€™s nearly a full quarter more than LC. It gets more interesting: For every 2.5 minutes LC held the ball in a normal ā€œtrueā€ drive, they scored one touchdown. [I didnā€™t count their scoop and score on a PNG fumble because it doesnā€™t tell us anything about how their offense moved the ball against our defense.] So, that ten minutes extra we held the ball was HUGE for PNGā€™s win. It might have been the main reason we won. In fact, our good defense actually didnā€™t stop them enough to slow their usual scoring rate much. They averaged around 56 points a game before they played us. If those ten extra minutes we held the ball had gone to LC, their offense was on a pace to score between three and four more TDs - or, between 48 and 55 points total. Obviously, this is based only on one game, but neither team has changed much since then. What does this tell us? With equal T.O.P., PNG likely loses. Our best defense is LC not touching the ball. They have the advantage in a shootout - frankly, their receivers are faster than ours, their RB is better than ours, and their QB is more than good enough. If we have to win by matching them score for score, we lose control. Our defense is good, but not good enough for our offense to gift LC extra possessions.
