I don’t remember the freshman playing in the PNG game, other than kickoffs. Huntsville went with #5 at RB.

Give me WO-S. I picked HF in the preseason to win this district but changed my pick mid season to the Mustangs. I like how they match up with the Longhorns. I think WO-S has the speed to handle and disrupt the HF offense and the run game to control the ball against the Horn defense. It will be a battle and one I will definitely be on the sidelines for. Not going to miss this one.

Silsbee has now won 6 straight and 8 of last 9 vs. Jasper. Very happy to lose this pickem.

I don't know but I do know this. You won't hear huffman crying about the refs! I expect to see at least 2 of those huffman guys playing on Saturdays... #12 for sure.

All 4 of PNG’s games against their top 4 competitors were one score games. This District has been probably the most exciting district race I can remember.

It’s all on the coaches and special teams tonight. Not prepared. Stop the run is all the defense had to do. We had 3 down lineman all night. I’m not a defensive guru but, tell me if I’m wrong. Huntsville seamed to do pretty good with 4 on the line. I will say this for the dogs, they didn’t give up.

I watched the entire game online, no defense at all until LCM stepped up in the 4th quarter, #12 for Huffman is as tough a player as I have seen in years! The QB for Huffman was also very good. Now LCM may have played the most complete game on offense this year…the QB is starting to find receivers and we already know he can run. I am a BC grad with Kids that played at LCM so here is my thought on next week, I am not sure BC can stop the Huffman run game but if they do can BC match the offense? Most of the games I have watched with BC is they make mistakes that cost TD’s and that cannot happen against Huff…. Both Teams are very talented, one has played to that talent and the other has yet to reach the full potential….injuries have played a part. It will be a great game in BC!! LCM and Huffman battled their butts off and I really enjoyed it.

Again called or not called the play stands and results in points go with it had the teams been flipped we wouldn't still be having these post. So I have an idea since you are able to see and call every play live without recordings while watching 22 players maybe we need you to sign up for the officiating crew and get a taste. Let's be honest how many saw it live I'm betting you didn't but after dozens of post that video can be seen with your eyes closed. We can all watch recordings and give our opinions but you and other BC fans to blast the kids on social media by posting videos and screenshots of this play along with others is pretty ridiculous to say the least. I wish BC the best but this will never be settled in your eyes even though you and the other bleacher refs have it broke down frame by frame.

You don’t? I make more money than I did 4 years ago and have a lot less left over at the end of each month. So the govt can say whatever they want about how great we’re all doing, but my bank account doesn’t lie. I’m thankful to be in a position where I’m not going hungry, and can afford some nice things, but I’m definitely less comfortable than I used to be. The only people who don’t notice or don’t care are the ones who make so much money it doesn’t effect them or who get everything given to them for free.

It’s sad reading some post from PNG fans. They are so happy Nederland lost and hoping they lose again next Friday. I get it, you’re scared to finish 2nd and face SOC in 2nd round. IMO Nederland just lost to the best team in district. PNG got very lucky to get that win. People are committing like it’s the end of Nederland’s season. They will regroup and treat next week as a playoff game and take the district championship and #1 seed.

I'll let this one slide since it's a pretty big game. lol

Huntsville is very good and they were desperate...sky isn't falling in Nederland...TCB next week and you are the one seed with a very manageable first round game

Great job to OF on winning the crown. Their defense held EC pretty well considering how good their run game can be at times. Manning with the 5 TDs on the ground. Felt like things were kind of even in the first half until EC got picked off in the endzone by #10 Morrow and then Morrow ends up with the long rec TD to put OF up by 2 scores before the half. Turning point in the game. Worth noting, that the first two drives for OF in the second half only had two total plays. Manning took it to the house both plays. Probably put up between 75-100 yards between those plays as well. EC had a few less costly penalties than the Anahuac game, but holding erased a big 50+ gain from Caesar. I think he’d have maybe 100-150 more yards this season without the holding penalties on some of his carries. Next year’s match up is going to be so fun to watch. #0 Smith for EC got a TD with #3 Fontenot and #11 Jones as well. Smith was impressive with his speed as always, some folks up in the booth were blown away by how fast he can get just immediately can get 10-20 yards down the field before a defense can react sometimes. Coach Breaux seems to have picked up where Coach Smalley left off and kept OF in good hands. Good job to OF winning district. Good job EC for making playoffs.

Lamar1996 is a long time PNG supporter been in here forever…. It’s cool, it’s a rivalry and his feeling got hurt when we dominated them.

Congrats OF. Didn’t think they would be the DC. They have gotten better each week with the new offensive scheme. Wouldn’t be surprised at a nice playoff run.

I wouldn’t say easily. Had a couple 3rd down conversions and even a 4th down conversion after starting at mid field. Huffman just went 83 yards in 3 plays. That’s what easy looks like.

Since 1956 Lcm is 28-19 against BC. Not sure where the high horse even came from but BC is not there yet.
