Not so much has been said of the remarkable season Kingwood had. I think after finishing 4th seed people pretty much wrote them off. KW beat Clear Springs, Elkins, and Strake Jesuit before losing to Summer Creek in the 4th round. Awesome year for the "nobody" in the district with NS, Atascocita, and Summer Creek. Kingwood and Woodville are the overachievers of 2024. Great job Kingwood Mustangs!

WOODVILLE EAGLES WOO HOO! T Hunter the player of the game. I was also impressed how he pulled himself out when he got gassed, most kids don't have sense enough to do that. 3 td's one on defense and 2 on offense. Play call of the game screen pass to Barlow. Woodville's defense played bend but don't break. The false starts were a result of TH fans having about 200 horns they blew the whole game that made it hard to hear. Kudos to Woodville fans for a good turnout (also had a lot help from communities close by) and making some noise that I believe caused TH some issues also leading to false starts. Didn't know the return guy was freshman but he contributed in a big way. This was a great game to see live. Love this venue and they have some really good people working there. I heard that the big runnning back for TH weighed 250, and he looked like he was about 6'3".

I didn’t “assume” it wasn’t invested… it wasn’t invested. So your premise is faulty from the start. I pointed solely at Medicare because I feel it’s the biggest financial loser of all. The numbers don’t lie… you’ve paid less than $50k towards Medicare over your career. To stand there and chirp “but I paid for it! It’s MINE!” is a bald faced lie, if Medicare has paid more than that amount towards your care. The point I’m making is this… one third of all federal dollars spent in 2023 were borrowed. When 95% of that total spending is a sacred cow (military, social security, Medicare, Medicaid, interest on our debt, etc…. How are those two billionaires gonna save us? They can’t, because y’all won’t let them. The areas you want to see trimmed are insignificant in the grand scheme of things. Y’all keep comparing Medicare to an insurance policy….. it isn’t, and it wasn’t. It was a savings account that drew no interest. Add to that the fact that the fund was depleted by big government, health care costs soared, we all started living longer on average, and population growth stalled, and the whole thing was proven to be a state sponsored Ponzi scheme. And old farts hollering “just wait until I get paid off, then screw the rest of y’all” should be met with some cold hard reality. Y’all elected and re-elected the jerks that destroyed it. Your generation as a whole is responsible for its collapse and should be punished.

I still think West Brook and Barbers Hill are the best two teams in our coverage area, but Kountze is hands down the best pound for pound team.

Who cares? The coaching communities opinions won't be what's heard at board meetings and won't be the ones applying pressure to the administration, at the end of the day if this continues he won't have a job no matter what the other coaches think of him. Being an AD in Texas is as much a political job as a football one. Winning cures all, excuses for losing does not. The disregard for the community and it's parents is appalling and any attempt to justify that is absurd even from someone who has as poor of takes as you do consistently. How coaches feel about another coach has hardly ever saved a coaches job and comments like this have upset people (that previously weren't upset.) It's funny because I'll get text about the program out of the blue and am pretty distanced from the program at this point and the stuff being said to parents is trashy.
