  1. One and done huh. I guess ACC is a weak conference.

  2. This is a refreshingly bad take. Moshier was working behind 5 underclassmen 1st year starters (3 soph), and his best 2 players (WR Miller, RB Farr) were banged up for good chunks of the season. Ask those teammates, coaches (hell - ask opposing coaches) if they felt that he was a liability back there. Anyone can read box scores and stat lines - I'd encourage you to go back and watch the tape. Then go back and watch how many high percentage pop passes, slips, tunnels and bubble screens HF made use of in racking up the yards. And last time I checked, Moshier led Silsbee deeper into the playoffs than any other team from District 9 4A-II made it last fall. With all of that said - Thomas on offense. Morris or Hunter on defense.

  3. Nothing to say except it didn’t surprise me. This team could beat a great team in the Aggies twice but can’t beat Xavier. Too inconsistent.

  4. I commented on a post with this article and thought it deserved its own post. 2.1 BILLION would fund Texas schools 5 1/2 days.......... According to the lottery’s most recent annual report for fiscal year 2023, the majority of the revenue (about 67%) went toward paying out winners. About a quarter of the money (24.5%) went toward Texas education via the Foundation School Fund, which is roughly $2.1 billion. For more context, we went through Texas Education Agency data and found school funding for 2025 is expected to be more than $66 billion. With Texas schools required to provide 180 days of instruction per school year, a $2.1 billion contribution from the lottery would help the state cover roughly five-and-a-half days’ worth of funding. According to the Lottery Commission, the lotto has contributed a total of $31.8 billion to the Foundation School Fund since 1997.

  6. Democrats are stupid. Look at their actions against Tesla, which they used to love. You are a Democrat, right? So, what does that make you? Democrats make it easy to hate them.

  13. Just can’t seem to keep up with the discussion, can you? It’s so disappointing watching you confirm, on a daily basis, that I wasted my tax dollars on your college education.

  14. Been some heavy lobbying for the Texas job going on for weeks, including by one that would make for some hilarious fodder. I think if WW was in the mix, he wouldn’t have taken the NC St job and I am guessing he wasn’t. Of the viable ones, Quinn Snyder apparently let them know months ago he was ready to make the jump back to college ball. But the main target seems to be Scott Drew. Hard to believe he would take that job after telling Kentucky to pound sand last year but who knows these days.

  21. Your nuts, I’d even move to Port Arthur if it was free 😍 I’ve hung out in Baytown most of my life and don’t have any issues. You Forget Baytown was the only place to hang out when BH was just a tiny town. The Lee/ Sterling games in the 80’s/90’s were awesome plus cruising 146 every weekend in my mini truck ( showing my age now) . The once great San Jacinto Mall with Club Soda was a great place to grow up 😁 unfortunately Baytown has been in a spiral since the opening of GCM and the City leaders are clowns. We are voting to build a wall soon ,so we don’t get sucked into the vacuum

  22. Goslin is so cute when he’s mad 😂. Dude you’re so eat up with BH. If I teach you the secret handshake and let you hang out with us will that make you feel better? I won’t even tell anyone that you live in Baytown and voted for Kamala.

  23. “Just messin’ with ya”? Bull. You said what you feel and what a LOT of folks on The Hill feel and say all the time, not just amongst themselves but what they say on social media and right to the faces of the poor folks down here. I’ll bet you just reread your prior post, saw how bad it sounds when you type it out like that for everyone to read so now you come back with “I didn’t really mean it, I was only foolin’, actually it’s Y’ALL who are the haters!” At least be honest and own it. You said what you said, feel the way you feel, so own it. Don’t talk big and then try to walk it back later. You think you’re so much better than everyone else? Well then at least be honest about it, but you can’t because of what you are, what BH is. Just a bunch of haters and bullies who get a kick out of picking on cripples just to make themselves feel bigger and better. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I don’t envy y’all, I pity y’all.

  26. Whatever happened to lottery money funding the schools? We’re talking $billions upon $billions. Also, here’s an article my wife found on Texas Educators board: It isn't just about voucher money, its also about the bureaucracy which is created to run it, bet you forgot that is also part of this crony scheme. The governor has decided that TEA is not competent enough to manage the funds, get them into the right hands, and keep the correct receipts. So, Texas is going full blown venture capitalist with corporation that specializes in voucher management. This is not yet been a realized cost of the voucher system, but it will be substantial. This begins the Great Texan Fleecing, and I am not meaning the football team, but us folks that call themselves Texans.
