And—in Texas—unless your 65, the state doesn’t require supplemental insurance to cover preexisting conditions. It’s a big mess and a crock. Sorry. I guess I should be happy/thankful we can get anyone to cover her at all. Off my soapbox now.

You are 100% correct. All you really have to do is consider this: When open enrollment comes around, Advantage plans are advertised at least 10 times as much as Supplement plans. Why you think that is? Companies advertise the most for the plans that make THEM the most money. With advantage plans, you sign your Medicare rights over to the insurance company, your premium withheld from Social Security goes to them, and they get to direct your care.

For all you youngsters out there approaching Medicare eligibility DO NOT buy an Advantage plan. Keep your Medicare rights. AARP’s plan with United Healthcare and Mutual of Omaha sell good Supplements. At least, United is good for now (that’s what I have).

Why is there so much focus on this one guy? He was here illegally and was deported to his home country. I couldn’t care any less about dem talking points. They always seem to find one issue, get on the bat phones, and unite even for this flimsy issue. If they stood for the American people for once, they would sway more votes. They always forget that simple fact. They should focus on the mother’s of the slain victims of ms-13 and illegals in general. They have proven to me that they don’t care.

How can you say he’s failed horribly when’s he’s only been in office 3 months? And you’ll make money in your 401K before he leaves office, I have no doubt about that when I see negotiations that are taking place. Groceries didn’t come down on day one, can’t argue that, but if the tariffs bring imports down and bring more jobs back to America, I’m good with it. What some folks may not like is paying more for some items because they are now produced with a labor force making a livable wage rather than in a sweatshop factory.

It would be a great idea for DOGE to step in and advise on making this more efficient, if fact, they would be the perfect fit when I read that almost half of the $84 billion spent on MA participants is due to “coding intensity”. I mean, what’s the down side?

Here's an interesting stat: Since 1981, Silsbee has had just 3 head basketball coaches. Terry Culley, Joe Sigler and Travis Williams. 3 coaches in 45 years. Also in football since 1984. Silsbee has had just 3 head coaches. Charlie Woodard, Bobby McGallion and Randy Smith. 3 coaches in 41 years. That's my point of stating Silsbee hires long term and not short term.
