Our moderators who feel the need to change their usernames over and over again... Anyone else feel this way? Makes it hard for everyone to know who they are...

Seriously considering putting together a monthly publication which covers sports in Southeast Texas. These would be distributed to various businesses around SETX and would be free. Thinking about a 16-20 page color magazine that would also be available online in some fashion. Probably 8-10 articles with great pictures. It would have special feature stories about High School Sports, but also an article or two about Lamar, outdoors (hunting and fishing), and maybe some other things. Thoughts?

here is his response: Yea because i do an awful lot of work from getting Alex to promote on channel 6 to posting news articles daily like ive done today. Other ADMINS dont know near the places to go to articles like i do daily. Plus having alot of inside scoop helps to by getting the news first on the site. I know for a fact the Kelly Football person wasn't me! We had a camera guy at channel 6 using that user name several times, who by the way is a coach now in Houston somewhere.

There has been much research done into these allegations, and even your responses have been considered. However, it is overwhelmingly not in your favor. This removal, may or may not be permanent. Consider your removal at this time "indefinite." Please note that this is not a ban or a complete removal from this website, only a removal from the SETXsports staff. There has been no timetable set to re-evaluate this decision, however a confession from you acknowledging that the allegations made against you were correct, would most definitely speed up this process. Thank you for your contribution over the years to SETXsports. Without a doubt, this website would not be where it is today if it wasn't for you.

I have no problem with leaving a forum up for a couple days after the seasons are through, or even having a gradual move down...for instance if all our football teams are out by the end of November, moving boys basketball ahead of it, but keeping football #2 until the season is over with... The way I see it, there should be a rotation between football, baseball, basketball (girls and boys) and softball...Everything else should be permanently below these...unless we have a huge rise in the popularity of soccer in SETX, it should be kept below these 5 forums

At the end of the day...he ditched us...I'm not upset that he left, just at the way he did... He had commitments that he's breaking. It looks bad on us, but also on him.. I'm sure he'll regret this one day

Those interviewed were: Bowman- Daingerfield Alvarez- Kirbyville Barbay- Anahuac Morgan- Carthage Stowers- (Formerly Central) Valastro- East Chambers Reportedly Valastro was given much consideration, but the decision was made to go with Morgan

Well specifically, here's what i'm talking about.... We put together a staff for each sport...these folks are not moderators..They are concerned only with content..I think if we can get 4-5 guys per sport, we'll be set...and this will be the basis as well for a subscription side of SETXsports if we ever do it..
