What did the Lady Raiders do Tuesday night?

So for the 3rd time in the last 4 years the Lumberton girls team is the last team standing from the area.

Did Sisbee win a district game this year?

Coach L, here is the rundown from the UIL archives for Wallers last 2 years and Hopsons first 2. 06-District Runner up. Beat LCM in 1st rd and lost to Klein Oak 9-1. in 2nd rd. Coach Waller 07-3rd in District Lost to Montgomery in 1st rd 1-0. Coach Waller 08-District Champs Bye in 1st Rd Lost to Whitehouse 6-0 in 2rd. Coach Hopson 09-District champs went 4 rounds in playoffs champs. Coach Hopson

Caoch Waller's team went to the playoffs here last two years, but not as district champs.  My daughter played 2 years for her and 2 years for Hopson.

Slisbee is the team to beat.  Everyone is beating them.

There is no doubt that its is a step below those leagues, but a quick drive to Houston is cheaper then flying to England to see a game.  Plus the air over there is full of volcanic ash..........lol

  For all you soccer fans in the area, try attending a Houston Dynamo game.  I went today and saw some great soccer action. The Dynamo won 3-0.  The Woodlands girls team was honored along with The Jesuit runner up team.

All that butt kicking of 4A teams didn't do WB a lot of good seeing as they were beat in the first round of the playoffs by a forth seeded La Porte team.

Ok Newbie,......2-1 and not 3-1.  But the fact remains that when the clock went to 00:00's, Lumberton won the game.  Don't whine about the way you lost.  Its unbecoming and makes you sound like a PNG or Nederland fan.

Thats true Newbie....I remember Lumberton girls, with less then half of WB's entrollment thumping WB in 09' 3-1.

Bullets13000, I do believe it makes a difference.  The 3A and 4A girls play in the same district and have enrollments that are closer then the big 5A schools.  If the keeper for WB only allowed a couple of goals in her district then by all means she should be the 5A top keeper of the area.  Just name another one for all the 4/3A teams that played one another in district.

I don't think a 5A keeper should be included in the list with the 4A teams.  As far as the 5A keeper shutting out the 4A teams, big deal.  They are biggers schools and should beat the 4A teams.

5A girls results are:  Woodlands over Austin Bowie 1-0 and McKinney Boyh over Seven Lakes 3-0.

I don't understand people complaining about scores in soccer games.  If Central and Ozen girls, don't want to get beat 15-0, get better.  Ozen still presses in boys basketball with a 30 point lead.  If I was the Soccer coach, the score would be 35-0 against them, and if the soccer coach said anything, I would tell him to talk to the basketball coach about 'sportmanship'. As for my earlier post that was taken off, I persume for using someones name, I will again tell Fiveo'clocksomewhere he did a great job coaching the girls in club ball and had as much if not not more to do with Lumberton girls success as anyone. 

  Sounds like the FF needs to be the girls coach instead of LP.
