Coach L....any word on the girls?

Freindswood Fan, I unlike a lot of people in SE Texas don't disagree that the Friendswood Lady Mustangs have been for years and will probably remain the bar at which region three, 4A soccer is set at. I just don't like you cause I think your a pompous arrogant prick.

Everyone from SE Texas needs to apologize to Friendswood Fan. He gets to decide that 14-0 is much worse then 10-0, and we all know he gets to decide what is right and what is wrong in soccer. He obviously has watched much more soccer then us and he knows all and sees all, so we shouldn't question his supreme soccer knowledge.

So what is the UIL doing putting Central in the position to be in the playoff's in the first place. FF, Central and Ozen don't mind pressing in BB when they are ahead by 40 points, so if they don't want to get beat that bad, I suggest they get better.

Come to think about it, the back line of Lumberton girls team, Seniors, Haley Corely, Ashley Mauer, Randi Payne, and Vanessa Anderson is about as good as there is in the Golden Triangle area.

Randi Payne of Lumberton is pretty good. Four year all district starter. (I'm assuming she will make all disteict again this year)

Lady Raiders 1 Jasper 0 Good gamed. Both teams moved it up and down the field all night on each other. Both teams have a lot of speed.

If the center ref was the same one that did the girls game, (I believe he is a dentist), he was in over his head for the girls game much less the faster pace of the boys. As far as the HJ girl that was injured, if it was the one that hurt her head, she and a Lumberton girl went to head the ball at the same time and they hit heads. The Lumberton player had a big knot on her head also.

For the AD to get involved would indicate that he might care about something other than football. Can't have that.

Switch to decaf Newbie. I wasn't trashing anyone and I didn't say anyone was better than her. Just a simple observation. She has great speed and I'm sure she will do well at Lamar.

I watched her play an entire season of club ball a year or two and think she might be a bit one dimensional. After the through ball there isn't much there. Lamar came a long way last year compared to their first. A new program has to be given time.

I think you will see more girls soccer talent signed by Lamar before the end of the year. Nederland, PNG and Lumberton all have some very good senior talent, plus all 3 of those teams beat Westbrook. Michell didn't score against Lumberton. Can't say if she scored against Nederland or PNG.
