  1. I think they are already renovating the baseball and softball fields under the current bond, or, at least, they were before all the revisions were made. Well please dont do anything with the parking at the baseball and softball fields, I really enjoy walking a half of a mile to get to the field. :-\ Oh, don't worry. They're giving you a brand new parking lot right next door to the baseball & softball fields. I know this because I get to march on that parking lot next year. I get to go march on concrete for two hours, 3-5 times a week, from the dead of July through the last legs of October so everyone else can park a little closer to their seats once a week for a couple months. Makes total sense. Don't get me wrong, I think that parking for those sports is important, but there are other areas that could have been paved (i.e. the current parking area for those sports).
  2. The band directors are taking volunteers, and a number of kids have signed up. The school in general is very excited about the idea of a whole new athletics program. The pride has really been rejuvenated. I used to call football season at our school "wartime PN-G" because the whole school was in such high spirits and so focused on the field and Friday night, but I think we're getting started on that a little early this year.

  4. Actually, we need more base instruments. I'm sure the directors would love to have him. Welcome to the true source of spirit at the Reservation, Coop. ;D
  5. Just thought I'd offer something into the record: Look at PN-G's so-called "renovations" under our bond. You know what they were? Roof repairs for every school in the district except the middle schools, and only partial roof repairs at the high school (only the sections set to remain were repaired, understandably). At PNE, the new roof is already leaking, and we've got fresh mildew growing in the instrument room at the high school from last weekend's rain. At Taft, there is a room that has been nicknamed the "waterfall room" because water pours down the windows every time it starts to sprinkle. This comes only weeks after the roof repairs were affected. We're in the same boat over here. These buildings are just being "rehabilitated" every few years, and, as we all know, you can only fix the leaks in the hull so many times before the boat finally sinks.
  6. Just thought I'd let everyone know that the band is taking volunteers for the Purple & White game. I'm sure the Indianettes will do the same.
