[/quote] That's the cost of cutbacks, but I agree. They need to replace the stands. The concessions, bathrooms and so on are fine, though. About the only other thing I can think of is parking. We need a lot more of it. Other than that, I'm happy with Indian Stadium.

[/quote] Those were great scrimmages. The 2009 scrimmage had the atmosphere of a game. Our stands full with the band there, the Memorial side mostly full... they may as have sold tickets. There will come a time when PN-G and Memorial will play each other in a real game. It just won't be this year.

This is the fourth playoff berth in the history of the program, and the second in three years. Huge moment in the history of PN-G. Glad for the boys and glad for Coach Abel's well-deserved success.

Like I said, my favorite handgun to shoot is a revolver calibered in .357 Magnum. I'm just not a big fan of using a revolver for a concealed carry weapon because appropriate revolvers would only give me a five or six shots. I know the statistics say that it's highly unlikely I would ever have to pull my weapon and even less likely that I would actually have to discharge it in self defense, but if that moment ever comes, I would much rather be over-prepared than under-prepared.

Ok, what are the differences in the models y'all have and what are the differences in situations that would cause you to switch weapons? Most of the folks I know who have a CHL and multiple weapons explicitly for concealed carry will stick with one of them 90% of the time and only go to one of the others in rare instances. When I eventually get my CHL and purchase a gun, I'll probably be sticking with that gun all the time until I have a job and can afford to purchase more on my own. I've shot the Glock 26 several times and like the feel of the Glocks more than Sig Sauers and S&W pistols (although my favorite handgun is a S&W 686 revolver, but that's too big to purchase for concealed carry purposes and only gives me six shots). The main reason I'm considering the Glock 27 is because of that little bit of extra power, but the drawback is that it holds one less bullet in the magazine than the 26.

Any opinions on a good concealed carry gun? I'm looking at getting my CHL some time next year and was wondering what y'all might think. The Glock 26 and 27 have both been on my radar. Also, any knowledge on a Mosin Nagant M91/30? I've always had an interest in old military arms (including Russian ones) and that seems like a cheap, easy addition to the small collection sitting back home.

I said myself that I didn't think Faircloth could get on at Permian after a 2-8 season, but the 'declining record' argument is bogus. Even with a terrible season under his belt, Faircloth has a .609 record. That speaks volumes.
