That's what it's starting to look like, but I'm just happy we're keeping pace right now. Indians came ready to play some offense and I'm not holding that against them. Scalp 'em.
 2. I've got to say, I can hear the PN-G band loud and clear over the field mic, and they sound awesome - better than I think I've ever heard. Really proud of them right now.
 3. TD Indians on Second Kickoff; 7-7 All ~11:40 1st 20 seconds in and not a single first down yet both teams have seven points. Go, Indians.
 4. I think it's really cool that they're doing those banners. It keeps the competition gym from looking too plain. I know there probably wouldn't be much on them, but I hope they do similar banners for the basketball teams to take up some of that wall space.

I understand only wantly to play kids one way... but when you are limited on options you have to allow your best players to stay on the field.. I think that if we did that we would have an opportunity to make the playoffs.  On tonights match i am thinking PNG 21 Central
If I remember correctly, the tribe refuses to play anybody both ways.  Not sure why, cuz it works for us.  I guess it's Faircloth's policy or something.
That's correct. I believe it's for two reasons. Number one, if that player gets injured (God forbid), you're basically out of two starters instead of one. Number two, I don't think Faircloth likes the idea of wearing down his starters that much.
That's true.  Never thought about it like that.  Sometimes it's for the best though.  Like our best player plays CB/HB.  (Also returns punts & kickoffs too) Coach West used to say its pointless not to use the talent you have, if it will help you.  I guess all coaches have their own strategies & beliefs.  Good luck to y'all tonight.
There's always a tradeoff between risks and rewards. Some like to take the extra risk for the extra reward, and some like to play more conservatively and receive fewer rewards if it means they don't have to take as many risks. It's all based on preference and strategy. But I tend to agree. At this point, if we want to make the playoffs, we're going to have to change things up. If that means playing someone both ways, so be it. Good luck to y'all too.

 7.
It's actually 29 straight years according to their banners. Missed in '82.
The banners in the competition gym are new. The first time I saw them was at the pep rally last Friday, so I haven't really taken a detailed look at them. Someone else said it was forty straight, so I just went off that. In any case, 1,100 wins and making the playoffs 39 out of 40 times is pretty darn good.
 8.
everyone going for the easy win again, yall are weak smh, grow some onions. LOL  :D
Says the guy who's out of the challenge because he picked Livingston to beat Nederland. The goal is to win, Buddy, not to make a statement. ;) ;D
 9. And a state ranking at #22 this year to boot. Congratulations, Coach Comeaux.
I don't know what information you have, but I have followed our sub-varsity teams closely this year and have now personally seen our freshman purple team play. Make no mistake about it, they are very good. However this season turns out, PN-G has bright years ahead.
