I'll take the people who are so insecure about their own schools that they have to constantly attack more prominent schools for doing exactly what makes them prominent. ;) And that's neither confined to Vidor and BH nor applicable to everyone from Vidor and BH. 8)

[/quote] I've been thinking about Doty's first game since the clock ran out Friday, but I didn't even think to look at Miller's first few games. You're right. +1 Smith has a lot of potential. Like the rest of the team, he played a great first half and showed some struggle after Silsbee made adjustments in the second half. He still led the Indians to a win in their first game in a stadium that makes it harder than most on visiting teams. He's got the talent and Faircloth has a proven ability to develop quarterbacks. Give the kid some breathing room and he'll develop, just like those that came before him.

For PN-G, I'd take Memorial, WO-S and Dayton. We may very well start district 0-3, but we'd be ready for anything 20-4A has to offer.

Y'all will be fine. I think your team was still a little chocked up over what happened to Justin Davis. Brenham will get things back together this week and y'all will be a power when district rolls around. Hope everything goes well for Davis. He's certainly still in my prayers.

They lost in 1997-2000 but beat WOS in 1996, 35-7.  PNG has lost 11 out of the last 13 games and has a total history record of 6 and 14 against WOS. That was the game that PNG tied just before halftime and instead of pouch kicking, decided to kick it deep and Kerry Franks Jr returned it 90 something yards for a TD. The 14-13 game was in 92 or 93. Looking at the list, it does show a 14-13 PN-G win in 1992. I'm going to PM the owner of the PN-G site. It was probably just a mistake.

If PN-G stays consistent through the second half, I think we have a legitimate chance to win. It's going to take everything this team - and maybe the crowd - has got, but I've seen PN-G pull off the impossible before and I have faith in the Indians. 17-14 PN-G Scalp 'em.
