The bamakid's not showing Vidor much love!    ;D
From toughest to weakest.... Central vs. PAM LC-M vs. WO-S Livingston vs. College Park Ozen vs. West Brook PN-G vs. Silsbee Nederland vs. Crosby Lumberton vs. GCM Vidor vs. Santa Fe This week's game results is a mixed bag of tricks for 20-4A.

My mouth ain't purty enough to love Vidor. ;D I personally think Vidor's got a great team this year with a great shot at the district title. I just don't think Santa Fe was much competition for them.
 2. Ok, just to review, I can pick any team in 19-4A and 20-4A. If that team wins, I'm in for another week but I can't pick that particular team again. If that team loses, I'm out for the rest of the season. Do I have this down or am I missing something?
 3. What would be your ultimate pre-season schedule for your school?
 4. About that 2003 game, turns out the scores of two games had been accidentally entered out of order. It's been taken care of now.
 5. Y'all will be fine. I think your team was still a little chocked up over what happened to Justin Davis. Brenham will get things back together this week and y'all will be a power when district rolls around. Hope everything goes well for Davis. He's certainly still in my prayers.

[Hidden Content] Does anyone remember the game? This is the second time I've seen something different.
Here are my sources:  [Hidden Content] and [Hidden Content]
Ok. I'm looking into it. Thanks.

Wos has a very good defense. From what i saw last night i dont think the offense we have is gonna cut the mustard. no running game it is non existent! AJ throwing the ball over chipmans head over and over isnt gonna cut it. we will have to spread out the stangs defense and go vertical if they are capable of getting that done. we wont have any success running the ball if we dont, im sorry no running game regardless. It wont get any easier the week after that either. i hate to say it but if i was in the pickems i would go with the stangs.
Actually, PNG has lost the last 4 times. They lost in 1997-2000 but beat WOS in 1996, 35-7.  PNG has lost 11 out of the last 13 games and has a total history record of 6 and 14 against WOS. I'm gonna have to go with the 'Stangs in this one, a nail biter 13-7.
The information I have says PN-G and WO-S last met in 2003 and PN-G won a nail-biter, 14-13. [Hidden Content] We do have a terrible record overall against the Mustangs, though.
Wow, I missed those three seasons 01-03, skipped right over it.  You are correct.
He was correct about them playing from 01-03, but he was not correct about the score. It was def 21-20 in favor of WO-S. That was the game that PNG tied just before halftime and instead of pouch kicking, decided to kick it deep and Kerry Franks Jr returned it 90 something yards for a TD. The 14-13 game was in 92 or 93. WO-S scored at the end of the game and went for 2 and didn't make it.
Ok, I'm glad we finally have someone who remembers this game. Looking at the list, it does show a 14-13 PN-G win in 1992. I'm going to PM the owner of the PN-G site. It was probably just a mistake.
 9. Of the upcoming games, which are the most likely to become upsets?
That is my understanding, too.
Why is that? I heard something about construction.
 12. If PN-G stays consistent through the second half, I think we have a legitimate chance to win. It's going to take everything this team - and maybe the crowd - has got, but I've seen PN-G pull off the impossible before and I have faith in the Indians. 17-14 PN-G Scalp 'em.
Yeah, doesn't most of us?

Who doesn't have a bad record against the Mustangs in SETX? I know we've only beat them a handful of times.
Yeah, I know. A whole bunch of 9-1 seasons in there where that one loss was to either the Mustangs or the Lincoln Bumblebees.
 13. I don't know if it counts as a trophy or not, but I remember something about a football painted purple and white on one side and black and gold on the other that changes hands between PN-G and Nederland after MCM. I have no idea how old it is or how long that exchange has taken place. I don't think it's a very public thing, just something the coaches exchange privately after the game. There's also a belt that someone tried to start exchanging between the two teams I believe in 2009. I know it was still around in 2010, but I don't remember anything being mentioned about it last year.

 17. Indians turn down penalty. PN-G ball with 33 seconds left. Smith takes a knee. Game over. Congratulations, Indians! And congrats on a great game, Silsbee.
