Both of these cases assume that we beat Central tomorrow night.

PNG vs Central Predictions

The only thing I can figure with Arvie is that Faircloth is either holding him as a wild card to throw in if we get into a bad position in the playoffs or trying to beef up Bertrand's stats by giving him the ball more. Neither reason seems to make much sense, but I'm not the coach. -

I'd still put Lumberton at the bottom unless something in that program changes soon, but the other six teams would all be in the hunt year in and year out. And with another week open for a pre-season game, the coaches and teams would be that much more prepared for district play. -

PNG vs Central Predictions
PN-G bamatex replied to Indianforever's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Based on what Soulja has said this year, it sounds like coaching and motivation are the problems. That's a shame, especially when Central has the athletes and the reputation of a deep playoff team. That said, they have nothing to lose and I'm sure they want to end their season on a high note. It would be foolish to overlook them because of their record. Thankfully, Faircloth is no fool. The Indians will come out strong and do their best to bring home a 7-3 record and continue the win streak. -
bh has beaten 2 teams with more than 4 wins. They beat ned by 3 and dayton by 7 they have a good team but beatable for sure
I'm not doubting that BH is good. You won't find a post on here where I've said that this year. My opinion is that Gage has done with BH what Faircloth did with PN-G in 2009 and I know exactly what that means because I've experienced it first-hand. I personally think if there was ever a year where BH could finally beat PN-G, it's this year. But are they beatable? Any team is beatable, and BH is no exception. If there's any team I have the confidence in to finally end the streak in the first round of the playoffs, it's the Indians. If that's purple pride bleeding through, then it's just gonna have to bleed through. Less fortunate refers to having to build your school and stadium next to a sewer treatment facility.
Wow. I feel sorry for your school then. If you're the only fan willing to get on here and defend the team, I guess we know who's truly less fortunate. You can say what you want about the school's proximity to the water treatment facility. Last I checked, PN-G's facilities are still among the premier in the area and Indian Stadium is the single most intimidating place to play in Southeast Texas. -

The travel is not that bad, the food is good (pass by Al-T's every trip lol) and the non-football sports competition is better all around. As for football, we'd wind up owning 20-4A too. (Had to throw something in there to keep that arrogance thing goin).
That contradicts what I heard. I heard that there was a BH graduate on whatever UIL board hashes this out that was pushing to keep BH in 19-4A because of the travel costs. Guess that goes to show that rumors are just that: rumors. Personally, I think the UIL needs to add a 6A classification and be done with it. There's a 1,000 student range in Class 4A. That's way too much. -
