1.
Who is doing it and when do they begin? Pretty sure PNG did it in middle of March last year.
Any idea when they're doing the spring game this year?
 2.
"We do go to PN-G once every two years.  Everyone in Texas knows of the great tradition there and it is good for our fans to see the great support and atmosphere that is at PN-G.  We want to be like them." Joseph wrote.
;D
 3.

PN-G has 20-4a in the bag!!!!
Since D3zii seems to be under the weather (  :D :D ), I will quickly come in and say...  Ain't gonna happen.  We let you escape last year...  But all seriously, here are my picks. 1. Central - D. Heard will be offensive player of the year next year 2. PN-G - What Faircloth have done with the Indians last year was NOT a one hit wonder.  Just watch and see. 3. Nederland - If you want to win, you start Forney on offense, point blank. 4. Ozen - I don't know what was missing last year, but it sure in the heck wasn't athletes 5. Vidor - No question if they can move the ball...  Question will be on the defensive side of the ball... 6. LC-M - Crouch, this is not 3a ball here. 7. Livingston - No Quinton Jackson...  No Keke Johnson...  No playoffs. 8. Lumberton - No offense, but back to your rightful place.
We'll see about the top two positions. Faircloth has seriously ramped up the offseason program. You can expect PN-G to be a faster, more physical team next year. That being said, I still expect the Central game to be a toss-up, and I just don't see 20-4A being ruled by anyone other than PN-G or Central. While I'm at it, how many starters are returning for Central? We've lost Harmon, Dunbar, DeRon and two others, but they're being replaced by some serious players coming up from last year's undefeated JV team.
 4. In 20-4A, you can bet that PN-G and Central will be in the running. The only other team that might have a chance in my opinion is Nederland, but we'll have to wait and see.
 5. It's been posted on the PN-G site that we're playing Gregory-Portland in the Alamodome, Crosby, and Texas City in that order. Other than the G-P game, I don't know locations, dates, or times.
 6.
So how far is too far to travel for a non-district game in your opinion? There are only 2 5A teams in the area and I believe that they both play at least two area 4A's The 4A district has seven district games in the area (Livingston is some distrance, but it still district) The 3A districts are now north and south in their orientation and a couple of them play some area 2A teams The 2A district is in the same shape as the 4A district so they play in the area for 7 of 10 games The 1A districts play their share of area 2A's, 1A's from the other division and several of the private schools in the area Could you be a bit more specific on which teams you are tired of scheduling outside the area?
In addition, playing teams from other areas gives coaches a good view of teams that they may meet in the playoffs.
 7. Gordon LeBoeuf (pictured above) died recently. He still holds the all-time rushing record at PN-G with ~2,100 yds. Caleb Harmon is second with ~1,800. Looks like we had outstanding fan support back then, too.
 8. Congratulations, Barbers Hill. Hopefully this new coach will shake things up in 19-4A (or whatever district you're in after realignment) and bring y'all as much fun as Coach Faircloth brought us. Of course, until you meet the Indians on the field. ;D
 9. GO INDIANS!!!!!
 10.

That would have to be the only one I missed (go figure).  The PNG Central game.
Yea, man.  You missed a classic!
That was an awesome game. It's my pick for the season. The Texas City game and Mid-County Madness get honorable mention.
 11.
I will give you this John Wilkins of Odessa Permian was one of the most dominating coaches ever. His record from 1973-85 was, 148 wins 16 losses 6 ties, that's 89% of his games won. That's a tough one to beat I'd say.
And one of those losses came at the hands of the Indians. ;D
 12. The teachers had a hand in this, too. They're always willing to go the extra mile for a student participating in one or more extra-curricular activities. Their rooms are almost filled with extra-curricular students for tutorials in the morning.
 13. 2009 PN-G loss to Brenham in Second Round of Playoffs, 27-21 I still think that we would of won and maybe even gone all the way had we played four full quarters of football and had the referees been a little more fair, but it had been a rough week at the Reservation leading up to that game and there's always next year. Congratulations on a great season, Brenham.
 14.
Not too bad for a guy who thought about being a lawyer.
Best quote in the whole dang article. In all seriousness, Coach Faircloth deserves it. Not only did he revitalize a program, he built a team and a coaching staff with players and coaches that knew how to play on each other's talents and work together for the better of the whole. I don't think I'm out of line when I say that PN-G is now the proud employer of one of the finest coaching staffs in the state. As electrifying as this year was for the Indian Nation, I can't shake the feeling that next year is going to be even better. GO INDIANS!!!!!
 15. It's snowing in Groves and Port Neches. It doesn't seem to be sticking, but the later it gets, the colder it gets (meaning a better chance of sticking), and this is supposed to continue well into the evening.
 16.
You sheep are so funny, following this BS site. Listening to idiot moderators and admins spew their garbage all over the web. Moderators and admin acting like they are the beat all end all of sports knowledge, and then put you down or delete post or even worse ban you, and yet you people take it. If you people would stop visiting this lame @$$ site, they might change the way they do things. As long as they have a couple of the admin that they have now things will not change. Admins and moderators acting like they are some type of journalist because the owner prints these morons some fake press pass so they can act like they are king SH!T by sitting in the pressbox. I am through ranting now. You have my permission to ban me now ;)
Some people just have to blame others.... :D
 17.
Great job PNG. Does the Indians have many returning or was this a senior laden team?
17 starters will return. The other starting positions will likely be filled with candidates from our undefeated JV team.
 18. Have a happy, safe Thanksgiving everyone. I'll probably be watching the UT-A&M game.
 19. These guys are heroes. Dayton should be proud to have produced them.

 21.

thats a huge senior class. looks like next year will be a rebuilding year for png!
Sorry to disappoint you, but the next few years looks REALLY good for the Indians!  A lot of our key players were actually juniors, and we have a 10-0 JV team that was loaded with talent!  I look for next year to be a repeat of this year, maybe even better!
i would have to dissagree. most of the play makers were seniors and losing 40 seniors is a big big lose.  10 and 0 jv is good but jv and varsity are a totally different thing. the year before bc went 0 and 10 the jv i believe only lost 1 or 2 games. one was too a 4a team i believe so you cannot use a jv to compare your next season. best of luck though
By the same token, we lost 41 seniors between last year and this year. Considering this, next year should be comparable to this year. I won't say we'll go undefeated (Boy, wouldn't that be awesome, though? ;D), but I expect a better playoff run. I imagine that the coaches are going to beef up the preseason schedule, so an early loss or two wouldn't surprise me.
 22.
I agree, it was a good game!  I think our players went into this game with a lot of bottled up emotion after the death of  a classmate last week, and just let it out at the end of the game.  A lot of them were friends with the boy and some were on the soccer team with him.  Not making excuses for them, just saying it had been a very emotional couple of days heading into that game.
That put a damper on everything. Several of the football players were at the funeral this afternoon.
