This should be a pretty good game. I expect the bears to win by 7 points or more, but Lumberton will give them a fight for it.

Livingston's field was in pretty bad shape when PN-G played there. I guess it depends on how much rain they get leading up to Friday, but expect to walk away wet, muddy, and possibly very cold.

All Central has to do is knock Quinton Jackson off his feet a couple times and the game is theirs. Jaguar fans, be prepared to hear that name all night. Livingston's announcer is always talking about him.

If Ozen loses to both PN-G and Central, then this is going to be a tough call and may come down to a coin flip.

So Central and PN-G both have secure playoff spots... Any predictions on who snags the last two spots? At this point, it looks like Vidor and Ozen to me, which is interesting because that would put three of the four District 20-4A teams with new coaches in the playoffs.

Isn't Central 6-1 overall?

As far as a prediction goes, I think Lumberton thought they could take it easy with Ozen and still come out on top. Needless to say, they were wrong and now they're backed into a corner and desperate. In addition, we're playing in Raider country so we can expect them to be prepared. That being said, Indians win by ten points or more. Sorry, Lumberton. The Indians are on the warpath and it leads well into the playoffs.

If we do both stay undefeated, I smell the beginnings of a rivalry. It'll be interesting to see how things play out. Good luck until Novemeber 6th.

Alright, I think we've had our fun gloating over the Livingston win. Let's just say "good game" and move on to the Vidor threads, shall we?

The video is what made it. Was the audio great? On its own, no, but it really played well with the video.

OH NO We are playing this game at the reservation? It is impossible to win at the Reservation right? Gosh if I had known it was at the Reservation I would not talked so much trash! Come on guys, reservation or not, this will be a good game that could go either way!!!!! : I'm not saying that the game is unwinnable for Vidor, only that it is at the Reservation and that, consequently, we will have a sizable home field advantage. Let's be serious, here. Vidor is going to be in Indian territory. The Pirates are going to be walking out onto a field in front of 8,000-10,000 fans, all dressed in purple, all rooting for the tribe. We'll have an advantage, just like Vidor would if we were playing at Croak Field on Friday (although I would argue that ours is greater ).

I agree with Jackthehammer. Our defense will even out with Vidor's offense. It comes down to our offense's ability to get through Vidor's defense, something that I believe we'll be able to do. In addition, the game is at Indian Stadium and there's nothing quite like the home field advantage the Reservation provides. However, there's always potential for Vidor to come with a few tricks up their sleeves. I'm going with PN-G by a minimum of 10 points.

I can understand enthusiasm but seriously, there are 21 other players starting for the Lions as well.

Look, when it comes down to it, Nederland did a great job considering the circumstances, but PN-G won, fair and square. Both teams went out onto the field and gave their very best and, even with Nederland's reduced performance due to injuries, it was a great game. Both crowds cheered with a lot of spirit, both bands, both drill teams, and both cheerleading squads did their best to fire everyone up, and both the Indians and the Bulldogs created an atmosphere that can rival that of most college rivalry games. Mid-County Madness is still one of the best games of high school football around and there's still another one next year. So, until then, go Indians and Bulldogs. In the meantime, drop the subject.

Alright, from what I can tell, Livingston has a pretty good running game on offense, but not that much of a passing game and their defense could use some work. PN-G has proven that it can hold down the running game and our offense has dominated some weak defenses. However, this is also PN-G's first road game of the season and the majority of our fan base will be out in the parking lot looking in (thank God I'm in the band ;D). So, I'm going to say that PN-G wins by 7+ points.
