  1. W = Win L = Loss T-U = Toss-Up As always, MCM is a toss-up. I don't care how well/poorly the Indians or Bulldogs have done in the season prior to MCM, anything can happen at that game. The only other toss-up I see is Central. Two new coaches, two virtually new teams, and one slate to clean. Who knows? The only game I'm willing to call a loss is Crosby. Originally, I thought that this would be a toss-up, but (and I never thought I'd say this) after further thought, I actually agree with squaw and think we're going to take an early loss to whet the team's appetite.
  2. That was a whole lot of purple and white.
  3. Yeah, but they can't get there without going around the school. Maybe that is a strategic move for this year. Have them run a mile in full pads to get to a from the locker room. Then hit deep on the first play! The band has been going up F-Hall, down A-Hall, down D-Hall, and through the cafeteria to get to the stadium from the band hall and vice versa after the games. The visitors will probably have to take their cleats off, but I'm sure that that's what they'll do.
  4. The fact that we have two very capable potential quarterbacks puts us in a very advantageous position. I trust that Coach Faircloth and his team realize this and will exploit that advantage.
  5. Just means more that we're going to earn back.
  6. The only thing I don't like is the black facemask - I think it needs to be white. Other than that, I think it's a very nice helmet.
  7. Mr. President, don't you think that there are other things out there (i.e. our failing economy, the Global War on Terrorism Enemy Combatants, etc.) that are more important than the Sabine Pass Sharks that you need to focus on? ;D On second thought, go ahead and keep ignoring those issues. They may be better off. ;D On a serious note, good luck (and fair weather) to the Sabine Pass Sharks in '09. They've had a rough time between Rita and Ike. I can't imagine what it's like to lose your home to a wall of water, rebuild it, and then lose it again to a bigger wall of water.
  8. Ditto. I'd say that we have at least 8,000 fans per game in preseason and season play, 12,000+ at MCM, and 10,000 at our first playoff game, with that number increasing at every playoff game that may follow. I went ahead and posted this request on both the PN-G forum and the PN-G Space forum.
  9. No, Hitler wasn't funny. However, the guys who came up with these YouTube videos sure are. They came up with a brilliant way to get a few laughs and press a few political/sports-related points in doing so.
  10. Went to Houston on a charter. Took us 2 1/2 hours with no stops.
  11. It's all what you make of it, I'm just saying that they're going to have a long ride there. Whatever amount of time it normally takes to get to Austin from Dayton, I promise you it's longer on a bus. Busses normally take twice as long to get anywhere as normal cars.
  12. Still takes a while. It took us (football team, Indianettes, band, cheerleaders, Indian Spirit, film crew, Geronimo Crew... in the end, we had a convoy of about seven or so busses) two hours to get to Reliant by charter bus. How many times did ya'll stop? Weak bladder ??? In 2-1/2 hours we will be getting ready to unload at LBJ. We didn't stop at all on the Reliant trip. We don't stop unless a bus breaks down (learned that the hard way).
  13. Still takes a while. It took us (football team, Indianettes, band, cheerleaders, Indian Spirit, film crew, Geronimo Crew... in the end, we had a convoy of about seven or so busses) two hours to get to Reliant by charter bus.
  14. It may not be a bad drive for the fans, but trust me, it will be for the students. It takes an hour for me to get to Houston when one of my parents or I are driving, but on a bus, it typically takes 2-2 1/2 hours.
  15. I thought Dayton was playing this game in Austin? I believe that is the case, playing @ LBJ. Oh, then it's the other way around. That sucks for Dayton's kids.
  16. All I know about LBJ is that it's a very prideful school and that those kids are going to have some LONG bus rides to and from Dayton.
  17. Again, I ask you to show where I called the name? I can pinpoint many where those on your side have called names. Your side? Your hero Bandkid even says I'm a moderate. Who else is on "my side" other than Maybe Bullets? I need to start a new thread. Who are the moderates? I did?
  18. Voice inflection? You think thats a positive for her? You guys are worse off than I thought. Man, you have lost all credibility with me. It's going to take a miracle for you to win back your credibility for the liberals on this forum. He wasn't holding that as a reason to vote for her. He was just saying that she's a good speech giver. So is our current President. That doesn't mean that we're going to vote for him. Now I see what the problem is: You guys are thinking with the wrong head. It's funny how you resort to insults so quickly. Sarah Palin is a conservative, she effectively ran her state, and she was a fresh voice on the political scene, something that was a major issue in this election. That sounds like a thought from the head on my shoulders to me.
