Great to see some coogs posting now and get their opinion on the game. People compare teams all the time and I try not to that because its really decieving. LaMarque has a very good team and maybe not like 2003 but theyre good. I 've seen the Nederland and El Campo game and both were very different games. The El Campo game was just great coog defense and I mean good. Offense was ok not dominating, The back up QB my hats off to him, played very well under very heavy pressure of the situation presented to him. I know one thing and that the defense you guys just displayed will have to be done again just like the pass week because Central offense is no joke. There are also video's of Central if you guys would like to see central performances. , I hear Central has some issues but still waiting hear back from someone. It will be a great game from both but Jags comes out on top.

I wanted to do the WB game but Central game is near the same time and I didn't want to be rushing to get there. I will be pulling for the Brook to win....

SFA if I don't agree with another post you make you hit hit the nail right on the head because Central really don't care what they get from UIL because its true they are a show band. They win battle of the band from Texas , Louisianna and California. It really gets me when people say they do not march or do routines and thats not ture. They march and do drills all the time. They can run circles or diamonds and even military all the time but people don't see it for the faster pace and different music and all they remember is the show part. All they see is the show time entertainment and fast pace marching. Everyone has their like and what they consider is best. You don't have march like a tin soldier to make it right or say thats correct to march that way. They use to do the CHS sign but stopped. A lot of people really don't understand the battle of band contest. Those kids are judge on marching, drum line, dance, flag, twirlers, style and entertainment. All I can say to schools who are watching them is look at the first part of performance because they do march....

I'll have to say that the Central Jaguars will be the surprise team from SE Texas and will make noise in the playoffs. If they play hard the full 4 quarters and stop worring about running the score up on teams, they should do quite well.......Jags all the way.
