The coach may be ok with it, but I would bet that the coach doesn't teach it. Maybe from someone else.

It says on their roster that she is a Junior.

I argued this call several years ago in Orangefield.  I was OK as long as the umpire said he did not see it.  On the 4th AB of the game he saw it and told me that indeed the batter was out of the box when he hit the double to the gap, but his foot was "STILL IN THE AIR"! I calmly informed him that barry bonds couldn't accomplish that feat. Did not get kicked out of game, but close.

If you stride out of the box and contact a pitched ball with the bat, it is an out whether it is foul or fair. Is this a true statement? Someone please post the rule from the book.

Glad the Pats. won. How about the great defense not give up a 10 point 4th quarter lead?  If Wilson throws to back shoulder, we are all saying gutsy call.  I am just glad he made the call!

Not preaching just stating a fact with some opinions.  This site is for doing just that. 

Everyone keeps dogging on Johnny Manziel.  His whole team looked horrible just like the last 5 weeks or so.  A couple of things that he can say that I am sure NO ONE on here can: I won the Heisman and I started an NFL game.

I hate the rule myself. I think the 3a on down coaches should be given the option for Spring ball.  If they don't give the option, then let them coach 7 on 7.

According to the uil rules, you may not transport the athletes. 

I know the results, but do you have the stats against Buna and Orangefield for WOS's defense.

Moving west.  I would like to thank all of the students and fellow coaches that I coached, coached with, and coached against.  I am following Coach Martel to Alief Hastings.  I would like to take this opp. to thank the Southeast Texas Coaches Association for all that they do for area coaches and, most importantly, area kids.  My daughter will definitely be able to use the scholarship that was given to her.  I will still send in my dues to be a member of this fine organization.

[/quote] Can not believe I am responding.  Come by the field house and I will show you the defensive game plan for every game.  Each player got this in their hands every Monday morning.  My door is always open.
