    Most of the districts where I have coached, Use points only to determine the top seed. After that, they use head to head.

    Why is Orangefield 4th? Most districts with 3 teams tied go to points for the top seed and then head to head: OF - lost by 7 to HF=-7 beat Silsbee by 2 = +2 total = -5 Silsbee - lost by 2 to OF = -2 beat HF by 1 = +1 total = -1 HF - beat OF by 7= +7 lost to Silsbee by 1 = -1 total = +6 2nd place OF wins head up should be 3rd. Are the tiebreaker rules different?

    They won state with a total of 6 athletes. A lot of people can run fast or throw or jump, but it is different when you are getting hit in the mouth. Top 6 at state track 6a: 2 didn’t make playoffs, 2 1st round, 1 second round then cedar hill-finalist

    Reason you don’t think they can do it in basketball? 5 state tournament appearances since 2003. Not many schools can say that.
